If you have an iPhone and your email provider is Cox, them you have to use CWMX.Com as your outgoing email server. It DOES work. It has worked for me and for my iPhone friends for many months until sometime last Friday. If you are unable to send mail with CWMX.Com as your outgoing server, please CALL AT&T and let them know. I know of three different iPhone/Cox users that are currently not able to send emails because of a failure to connect to CWMX.Com. AT&T is still insisting that this is an individual phone configuration problem. It can’t be if it is happening on three separate phones at the same time that all previously were able to send emails this way.Â

I’ll be very interested in finding out the resolution to this problem. I work for Cox and we have a number of iPhone users calling our call center asking if this could be our problem somehow. Any news yet?
