I’m trying out MobileMe for 60 days and have it set up on my computer for synching, etc. with Outlook. I’m getting a “dotmacsynchclient has stopped working” error message every time I turn on the PC, and every so often while I’m on it.
I’m pretty sure this is tied to my Outlook program as its been acting up lately (not sending and receiving, not retaining my passwords so I have to put them in every time, thereby not being able to work automatically), so its probably not synching with the MobilMe program correctly either. I’ve tried for several days to get Outlook to work correctly, to no avail.
I’m thinking I could shut down Outlook altogether and no longer associate MobileMe with it but I wonder what limitations that would put on the MobilMe program, if any. Do I need Outlook to operate MobileMe, or can I use the program without it?
