I called AT&T sales to see about my iphone that I placed at 6AM and the lady said we have inventory so you should get email with tracking within 24 hours is this too good to be true?

I placed order around 6AM EST will it be at my house my next week? Also when do we get the email that we need to respond to within 24 hours with agreements?

I have a prepaid “pick your plan” iPhone.   I received a call this morning at 5:50am. I spoke for about 20 minutes. Somehow, I expected  that after I hung up, my phne would buzz and I’d get a message telling me how much I was billed. I was billed $1.50, which means:   THE SYSTEM STARTED BILLING ME AT 6AM WHEN THE CALL ENTERED PEAK MINUTES.    But check this out: if I place a call at 8:50pm and speak for 20 minutes, THE SYSTEM BILLS THE ENTIRE CALL, INCLUDING THE TEN MINUTES AFTER 9PM, AS PEAK MINUTES    I just got off the phone with Customer Care, and they confirmed my suspicion, but reassured me that all of the other carriers pull the same egregious move (so it’s all good)(do they?).   These guys are amazing.

today is the first/only day this has happened so far.  Powered On my iPhone this morning at 6am, from a full 100% charge the battery dwindled all the way down to 4% by 2:30pm.  I’ve only used my phone for email access, text messaging and I sent 1 MMS today.  How can this be?  Usually even under heavy usage (iPod, Pandora usage) the battery level doesn’t dip below 40%..   Are any of you experiencing any battery life issues with the 3G S?   I turned off my Notifications, and stopped getting my email pushed to my phone, so hopefully that will help.   Any tips on how else to conserve battery life?     Do you think there’s something wrong with the battery, and should i take it into the Apple store?
