ordered on 8/2….  after numerous emails and correspondence complaining about the back order stories and new customers vs loyal existing customers, my 8/2 order for iphone4 16gb was OFF of back order when i got home this evening from work!…  now this happened AFTER i was told that my order would be on back order for at least 3 weeks in the email reply to my complaint…  then i sign on today and its not on back order anymore…  so i was on back order for 4 days…  so excited…

 

complaining DOES pay off!…

I placed my order yesterday for my iphone 4, and i’m curious how long other people had to wait until it arrived or shipped, i think it says it’s on back order :-(   Jason

Hey guys. 7/24er. Wanted to share that I came off back order at 10 AM this morning on 8/3. Still haven’t gotten shipping info though. Just wanted to share.

When the Site goes down…Trying not to get Excited..

So I have read that sometimes the order status website goes down for people just before their order comes off backorder. Well i’ve tried 4 or 5 times now to log in and everytime the site says that the website is unavailable or timed out. Everything about the site works fine until I submit my info. What exactly happens when the site is down before back order ends? I’m a 7/21er so i’m trying not to get my hopes up for what will be an obvious let down.

So it looks as though those who ordered july 12 are coming off of back order so that would mean by the 28th us July 15 ppl would be off by then, plus a lady on customer service did say theres a possiblity that by then it should be off b.o *crosses fingers*

This thread is for those who ordered a 32gb iphone 4 and want to compare shipping times, back order times etc. I know there are already a few hundred others threads, but I figured I would divided it up between the models to help those who are quickly searching.   I ordered a 32gb iphone 4 on 7/22 and it is still on backorder.    That is all I have for me, but hopefully some others will have hope for us :smileyhappy: as for me, I will resume checking my status every minute! haha

I think since many of us don’t like getting threads merged, I thought I would start 2. One for the 16gb orders and one for the 32gb orders, seeing as how they have different ship time. I myself ordered a 32gb, so you will see my info in that thread.   When you post, please provide: order date, on/off back order (when off back order) and shipping date, etc..

Well I think it sucks that this phone shipping is taking so long. I want it so bad that it’s almost depressing. And seeing that people who ordered wa back on 7/13 are still on back order makes me even more depressed! Come on, I think they should have been more prepared for the demand before the iPhone 4 was released. It’s not like this is the first iPhone frenzy for Apple. I really want it. I hope I get it before 3 weeks.   Anyone who ordered on 7/21 get lucky yet? I’d say not, but it’s worth asking I guess.
