I just exchanged my i4 today with a new i4 at my local Apple store.  I came home and synced everything and it appears to be working fine.  I see a new icon which I never saw before, it looks like a telephone above a keyboard or about 7 pots below it.  Would this be showing that TTY or something like that is enabled?  If so, how does one disable that?

Thank you,

Got my iPhone 4 yesterday. Set it up with my wireless router. Played with it all evening. Took it to the store with me, etc. When I came home, it automatically reconnected to my wifi at home via my router. Still OK this morning and throughout the day. Just went in town and when I came home, I noticed there was an error message saying that the password for my router was incorrect. I tried re-entering it about a dozen times making sure it was correct and it just keeps telling me the password is incorrect. All other devices in my home are connecting and operating on my wifi. Any ideas? RJ

Hi!   So, my brother’s iPhone 3G broke. But, instead of fixing it, he just got an iPhone 3GS as they had just came out. They transferred his data plan to his new iPhone 3GS (plus another 2-year contract).   So, there is one singular iPhone data plan, $30/month, on my brother’s new iPhone 3GS. I came home a few weeks ago from college and found his broken iPhone. I called up Apple and they shipped me a replacement iPhone 3G (woot!).   Now, question: can I use this iPhone as just a phone? I don’t want the data plan with the $30 surcharge. Can I just use it to make phone calls, etc. without getting the 3G data plan?   ~Ibrahim~
