I have 2 phones on my acct. Mine and my daughters. She has an iphone, with data plan. i have a non smartphone. My question is, if we switch phones, we change sim cards, how do I go about switching that data plan to my sim card/number.
 I dont want to have no data plan, but I dont want att to auto add a 2nd plan either.
 can i do the switch from my acct add features? or shoudl I call a rep (i hate doing that, too slow)
How does wifi work on the iPhone? Will I have to enter a security code everytime I come into a new wifi area? For example, I have wireless in my home. Each of my daughters have wifi in their homes. Will I have to enter their codes as well? If I go to a business that has wifi, will I have to enter their codes as well? Does the phone automatically pick up when wifi is available, or do I have to do that manually? Thanks! RJ
I purchased an iPhone over the weekend and was able to sync almost everything that I needed just fine. Â I did notice that when I checked my calendar on my iPhone, the color labels weren’t showing up for my appointments. I have my daughters school items one color, work appointments another color, personal items a color, etc. Each appointment I have assigned a color label to make it more easily readable in my calendar. Â Is there a way to correct this? Do I have to check something off for this to occur? Â Any help would be GREATLY appreciated…
Ok so im on a family plan. We have unlimited text/data. Im planing to upgrade my daughters phone to the iphone and giving it to my son who wants it, and I will give her, his old phone (she wants it). Heres the situation. If I upgrade her sim for iphone text/data will it still charge my son’s phone huge fee’s since his isnt technically a iphone sim plan? Or will the iphone text/data follow it to my sons sim card?
I recently upgraded my daughters iPhone from a 2G to the 3GS. I have the family plan with 3 phones, 2 regular phones and the 1 iPhone. I am now left with the old 2G phone that is not used. I’m sure that this has been asked before but if I take the sim card out of my non iPhone and place it in the old 2G, will it work? I already have a data plan for my daughter’s 3Gs. Would I be required to get another data plan for the 2G? Seems like a waist to just put the 2G away without using it. I would like to use it as a phone. I don’t need texting.  Â
