the case of the crashing app

if there was an app, hypothetically speaking of course, that did NOTHING but crash almost 24/7.. and i write to the developer and get NO reply and i fill out the report a bug thing in the app store.. all to no avail.. what other options do i have (and please no snyde comments about simply not using it) and no there aint another app that i could use in lieu of.. .. this is a free app but still... i have reinstalled, re this re that.. and also MANY MANY peeps have the same problem..
