Hi all, I paid for an iphone 3GS from a friend. This phone was never unlocked.

and I have an iphone 4 also. Now I wish to operate both the phones. Sometimes the iphone4, infrequently the 3GS. though the 3GS does not have any sim card. and my iphone 4 microsim does not fit so can not be used for activating 3GS.

 

If the iphone 4 and 3GS used the same sort of sim card, I would have only popped the sim in to any device that I longed for to use. though since iphone 4′s sim is most smaller, can I ask a transcribe sim ( same phone number, only a bigger distance of my iphone4 microsim) to be used with 3GS?

 

If approbation then, suspect I have powered on both the iphones and afterwards what will confirm that a single works? I am certain I can not have calls with both simultaneously. Do I have to switch off the a single I do not wish to operate at the moment?
