Teathering: Missed Deadline by AT&T

Dear AT&T,    I love my phone, I've had every version of the iPhone, ad was a customer of yours for MANY years prior to that.   What I need is Tethering. This was promised to us last summer (Thank you Apple), and it was something I could do WAY before the iPhone came out (on my previous smart/dumb phones). Why are you holding back? My friends in Germany and Spain can tether their iPhone to their computers, why can't we?    I pay you close to $200 a month for my devices only to have them consistently neutered by your policies. (MMS, Tethering, Video apps) These are things that I can do, and could do on previous phones before the iPhone, yet I can't do them now with the more advanced device. It was said that you'd have it by the end of the year. It's 12/31/09, you can't get any later than that.   I genuinely hope that someone reads this, and I invite you to call me to discuss this matter.    -John

Experience Smart Mobility With Htc Devices

We have seen and experienced a remarkable evolution since 1990 in the mobile device market. Among these, HTC is a popular name that has been made quickly in the market for mobile phones. Founded in 1997, Taiwan-based HTC (High Tech Computer Corp) is the world's leading manufacturer of Windows mobile devices. They design, manufacture and market innovative, feature rich smartphone and PDA Phone devices.
HTC devices carry the unique tradition of providing "Smart Mobility" for everyone. They have made great progress in a short time by introducing a wide range of popular Smartphones, Pocket PCs and finally now Ultra Mobile PC. Another major achievement made in the year 2007 was its alliance with Google Android. Given the growing demand for HTC devices, they are expected to generate over 20 per cent growth rate for 2008, they hope to continue to build their own brand to drive sales.
Differentiate themselves from the rest of the competitors, HTC recently proposed its new TouchFLO technology embedded in HTC Touch that allows users to use their finger to launch applications and make phone calls. Other than being known for its smartphones, HTC has launched some highly admired the Pocket PC like the Touch Dual and HTC Touch Cruise. HTC Touch is equipped with integrated GPS capabilities so users can easily device "cruising" with him when they are out of travel. Their next addition HTC Shift is the first Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) released by HTC. The Shift combines the power of Windows Vista and wireless connectivity into a leading innovative and compact design that creates a new paradigm for mobile computing.
HTC is one of the most successful companies in the market for mobile devices.
HTC Advantage is a new version that offers extreme portability by leveraging the mobile office strengths of Windows Mobile 6 and advanced wireless connectivity in one of the smallest mobile computer designs available. On exploring the progress in the market HTC S710 smartphone is the first smartphone with a stylish slide QWERTY keyboard. It is packed with many innovative features such as Wi-Fi Multimedia, Bluetooth, email, Windows Mobile 6 and many more.
HTC devices are ideal for enterprise customers because of their flexibility by which company custom software and user interfaces can be easily integrated by the supplier. There are a variety of third party applications available on the market, ranging from utility to business, lifestyle to entertainment, travel health, all designed to improve the capacity of HTC. Important in certain applications are built voice, email, SMS, Internet access, data communications and electronic diary / calendar / personal organizer and more.
HTC devices are rapidly gaining in popularity, but they still face a constant challenge to compete with major manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Sony Ericsson in the years to come. Ultimately, examining the progress and capabilities of these devices, we can say that HTC has any tendency increasingly to become the next sensation among users.

For Those Of You Who Have "Incompatible" Accessories For The New Firmwares…

This may be old news (but upon searching, couldn't find it here), but there is a device that will allow the older accessories to work with our iPhones, beyond the 2.2.1 firmwares (which is when Apple changed something...). I saw this at Wal-Mart the other day, and decided to check it out. It seems that it'll allow most other devices which give that annoying incompatible message (below) to work now. It's also supposed to allow docks, chargers and all the previous accessories to now have the FireWire power recircuited through to the USB pins to charge our iPhones. Slightly pricey at $30, but if it'll allow my 3rd party iPod to A/V and my old wall charger to work with my iPhone 3GS on 3.1.2, then I'm all for it! May pick one up later...still debating on justifying that price, haha.
