The ITC has ruled that Apple is infringing on two patents held by S3 Graphics. The patents both have to do with graphics and are widely licensed by numerous tech giants.

I recently bought an Iphone 1st gen on ebay. I installed the SIM card from my old Palm Treo 650….I connect my Iphone to Itunes and when it tries to activate with AT&T….it says: We can’t activate at this moment, please try later”….along those words…..there is no problem with firewall or internet…….am I doing something wrong?
hey guys so i just got my iphone 4 from ebay i put my sim card in everything is working flawlessly but i got on the att website and it already says my device is apple iphone 4 so i tried to change my basic unlimited data plan 2 the iphone 2gb data plan it seemed everything was good but i went to the last page and it gave me an error and idk what to do. so if some1 could help me il be so greatful or if you can tell me how to get to the tech chat so i cant talk to a representive
One week passed, I am very happy with my lovely Nokia N8. The image and video quality is very promising. Last week I bought some accessory that I thought it is useful for my N8 over eBay and I got it this morning. Let guess what it is…. Tick Tock Tick Tock…. Alrighty, so there was an issue with me getting an iPhone out here in Nome, AK a few months ago and I finally just broke down, shelled out 400$ (at the time!) for an iPhone 3g on ebay. Then I went and got myself a pre-paid gophone account and inserted the SIM and “poof”, problem solved… until my phone dropped out of my pocket and it got run over by a truck. Â Now I’m back in the saddle with a Palm-centro for the time being and I want the new iPhone 4… Â If you had not read my previous problem, I live in Nome, AK and I’m kind of stuck here. There is an AT&T “store” but it is not a corporate and there is NO WAY to get an iPhone 4 from this location. Â So I decided to give ol’ 1-800 number a try and see what the possibilities of me getting one now were! Â Problem Number 1: I do not have a personal computer (as my iphone served as both internet-connection and e-mail…thing) Therefore, if the comfirmation were sent, I wouldn’t be able to get to it until the next day at least, not a HUGE problem, but it is one nonetheless. Â Problem Number 2: Apparently I have “made too many failed attempts” with ATT and I have upset their “Risk Management” team who explained that my SSN would be blocked from all phone and online purchases through ATT. Â Problem Number 3: Like I said, there’s absoloutly no way that I can “get out” of Nome, AK and get my iPhone elsewhere (The closest corporate store is Anchorage and I’m not paying 600 Dollars to fly out to get a phone that, with the 500 Dollar deposit will cost 800 dollars!) Â Is there ANY way around this, I mean, REALLY? ATT has been good to me in the past (When I was younger and I was on my parent’s account) and now they seem to just want to discourage me from even trying. I’m noticing that certain apps are not refreshing when I open them. For example, ebay app and facebook app used to always reload when I opened them. Now I have to hit their respective refresh buttons to get new messages. I would think this has to do with the multi-task function but that is just a guess. Â Anyone else noticing apps that are not working they used to on their 3G phones?
I bought an AT&T iPhone 4 through ebay without any contract attached and now I’m trying to get it working with a dutch sim card from T-Mobile.  Why does this phone, without any contract(!), have a simlock? How can I remove this simlock? Can AT&T help me with that? Are there any costs attached to this?  Can anyone from AT&T help me?  Â

I already have an AT&T account with a 8gig iphone 3gs. I want a 32gig 3gs. Can I buy one from ebay and then have AT&T just transfer my phone # and account information from my old phone to this new one, or do I HAVE to buy it directly from AT&T or apple? Â
