Is anyone else having problems syncing? i activated fine but when i plug in to sync, i get an error message.

When syncing my iPhone this afternoon it prompted me to upgrade to the new OS.  No big deal…done it before.  After I observed that it was proceeding I walked away from my office for a brief meeting.  Upon my return I observed an error message that said “error restoring iphone.” iTunes was frozen and said “Not Responding.”  I disconnected my iPhone and had to reboot it.  I restarted Windows as well.  In the interim, I checked my iPhone settings/general/about and it stated that my OS was 4.0 (8A293).  Here’s the problem(s):  -It seems the phone upgraded to the new OS.  Checked several of the features and they are functioning properly. -However, where my iPhone used to say “MY NAME’s iPhone” it now states “UNKNOWN” -I cannot sync to iTunes. Opening iTunes and plugging in iPhone results in iTunes hanging. -No apps function.  All I get is the splash screen, then app shuts down.  iPhone native apps i.e, Calc, Calendar, iPod, etc.  work fine.  I have latest version of iTunes for Windows XP and my iPhone is the 3G.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Error message is “Could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again” There are no other applications running other than the phone and its on roaming currently. And the Blackberry Messenger won’t ping contacts either. Has anyone had similar problems? How did you resolve it? Phone Cards why wont [...]

Hello..I am going to just use the yahoo IM app for the Iphone to IM my friends on their cells…so far,no issues,BUT 2 of my friends…one is ATT customer,not sure who the other has…well,when i try to IM their phones,it tells me that the number is either formatted wrong (think thats what it says,lol,something LIKE that anyway) or that their carrier does not support what I am trying to do.I have texted them BOTH before through regular text…any thoughts on why I ma getting this error message?? Thanks in advance!! Â :)

I am in Japan and no longer need my iPhone. I want to cancel it, but AT&T’s site says I need to call the 1-800 numbers to do so. I call–the numbers are not in service, evidently. I click the email link and receive an error message. How do I cancel the account/phone?

Hello, Â I’ve had the 3G since March 2009. I originally did not set up my work email since I thought it was sync in contacts and calendar when all I wanted to get was mail. Â I wanted to get calendar & contacts from my gmail. Â Right now when I go under settings>mail, contacts, calendar, 2 accounts are listed: [email protected] (with just Mail underneath) gmail (with mail, contacts, calendars underneath). Â When I go to Add Account and select Microsoft Exchange Server, and error message pops up saying I already have a MES set up. Â Can anyone please help me? Â I want gmail to sync mail, contacts and calendar and Work Email to just sync mail. Â Thank you!Â

I have an iPhone 3G. Two of my daughters have phones with AT&T, one of them an iPhone. That phone consistently gives me this error whenever I try to send her a text: <> has restricted MMS e-mail." I do not get the error message with the other daughter. Does anyone know how to make it go away? It began only when the daughter got the iPhone.

On the iPhone you can access the internet via wireless internet and it’s free, is it possible to do the same on the AT&T Palm Centro? I went through me “Connections” settings i found a “Wireless Modem” option and I thought it could connect to wifi. I tested it and it had some error message. [...]

When I try to install most number of Software for my Nokia 6120c, an error message prompts saying “Certificate Error. When I go into Spam, blocked email addresses, highlight the two I want to unblock, then click remove, then Save Changes, an error message always comes up saying “An error occurred”.
