I found an unlocked iPhone that had a TMobile sim card in it. Because of the passcode I can’t get into the phone and because it is jailbroken, I can’t seem to restore it to factory settings. I have a working ATT iPhone and was going to try putting my sim card into this unlocked phone to see if it will allow me to do the restore. I held off though not knowing if I would hurt something else. My plan was to give this phone to my wife if I can get it up and running. Will this sim card switch do me any good? Â

I have the latest version of Itunes, 8.x.x (don’t remember off the top of my head right now). Anyway I converted part of an .mp3 to a .m4r and added it to itunes. It added fine, and put it in ringtones. However it never syncs to the iphone. I have checked the box enabling syncing of ringtones. I tried a few different 3rd party apps for converting, etc. All do the same thing, add it to itunes, but won’t sync to the phone. Even after restoring to factory settings same thing. Any suggestions?
