Message: ‘Could not activate cellular data network’

Anytime I try to access the 3G data network, that appears. I just recieved my iPhone earlier today and, being extremely excited it, I wanted to check out all the features. My wifi works perfectly, and I have had no problems connecting that way. But trying to use 3G is another story. It says exactly: 'Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service' But of course, when upgrading, you are REQUIRED to get the data plan for iPhone. I also tried resetting the network settings, that didn't help either. Thanks in advance for any help.

3G stoped working after upgrading to iphone 3.1.2

I took my sim card from my LG ATT phone and used it with my iphone. 3G and all other sevices worked fine for a few days until I upgraded my iphone to 3.1.2.  The phone service, wi-fi, and all other features work, except 3g.  When I take the sim card back to the old LG phone, 3G service works again.

French Iphone 3G on GoPhone

Hi everyone,   I'm a French student that will come to San Francisco in a few days, and I currently own a French Iphone 3G officially unsimlocked. I plan to stay in US between 6 months and 1 year. I want to keep my current Iphone and use it with a prepaid plan, as I cannot take a 1-year commitment. My questions are: - Can I use my French Iphone 3G with a GoPhone Pick your plan / Pay as you go ?  - I plan to take a Pick you plan $39.99, with the 100MB and International long distance Features plans. But I was told that I would have to pay these 2 additional Features plans in top of the $39.99, for a total of $64, which is absolutely not interesting. Is that information correct ?  - If instead I take a Pay as you go, is the 100MB feature plan deducted from the available balance ?   Thanks for your answers !

Email File Transfer

I do not need iPhone tethering to my laptop. All I want to do is transfer an Email attachment file via usb or bluetooth to my laptop. Background: while in the field sometimes I need a new datafile to load into a device via rs232 when there is only a cell connection to recieve Email.
