For the second time since I’ve had my iPhone4, it will freeze when it’s connected to my PC.  I’m not syncing my phone nor is iTunes even open.  I will be reading email and/or txting and it will just freeze.  I hold down the power button and the phone will not shutdown.  But when I disconnected it from the PC and in a few minutes it will shut off then reboot on its own.   Any one have this issue?

When my wifi network is completely open, my iphone 4 connects and stays connected with no problem but once I enable security and enter the password on my iphone, it connects and then after a few minutes reverts back to 3G. To reconnect I must go into the settings and have to re-enter the password and it connects. My wife’s and friends iphone 4′s are doing the same thing. Every free wifi hotspot works, it’s only password protected wifi’s. Anyone have an answer?

I have read some information regarding how AT&T and the Debit purchases are processed for our orders.   On July 3rd, I submitted my order for my 16GB iPhone 4, and was charged via my Bank of America Debit Card that I entered.   The total amount was sucessfully taken from my account and noted as “Processing” on my Bank of American Transaction History.   It was left that way until just a few minutes ago, when my transaction is no longer present on my Transaction History, and my Available Balance now is back to having the amount that was debited from my order.   I have read this is normal, and at the time my item is shipped, I will finally actually be charged, and I have read that this process is done to make sure the full amount is available.   Is this what has happened here? My order still says Back-Ordered and In Progress, and I’m just wanting to make sure that I will still be charged when the item is shipped.   Thanks.

Hi –   Over the past couple of days I noticed that my iPhone 4 is running on EDGE data connection instead of 3G.   (Wi-Fi works as usual.)   I’ve had it since launch day and only now has this started happening.  I’ve gone through the usual troubleshooting processes of turn-on/off the phone, power cycling, re-syncing with iTunes, airplane mode, etc to no avail.   I’m able to get 3G back sporadically, but not for long, usually only a few minutes before it drops back to slow, slow edge.    At first I thought it was some network problems AT&T was having…but other iPhone owners in my office are getting 3G just fine.  Of course they’re using iPhone 3G and/or 3GS.   I don’t know if this is related to the whole recent upload issue as 3G is not showing on my signal display to begin with.   Anyone else experiencing this, or have any idea what might be causing it?  Any thoughts or info you can provide would be appreciated…thanks.

My husband and I were walking our dog. I saw 2 abandoned bikes (kids steal other kids bikes and leave them where ever). I was going to take pictures of them and post it on our community yahoo groups site. My phone was in one hand and I’m not sure if the leash was in the same hand or not. Next thing I know, Indy (our dog) pulls a little on the leash and my phone flops out of my hand. All I could do was watch it fall :( …   I picked it up and there was only damage on the top left and bottom right of the case….whew….I was upset for a few minutes because it’s so new and all, but I got over it pretty quick as I realize it was just the case that got damaged.   Yesterday at work, my husband (who still didn’t get a case), is in his work vehicle and guess where he leaves his phone…..Yup, in between his legs. I think we’ve all done this. He gets out of the car and it falls to the ground. There’s a few dings/dings on the left side. Nothing too bad, but I hope he gets a case soon. Once it’s covered, you won’t see the damage it has now.   For those of you ‘waiting’ for a certain case to come out, don’t. Get something, anything, for now until what you want is available. It’s worth the peace of mind IMO……

You would think the guys at the Apple Store have it figured out. I really want to believe this. They handle all of the activation and when my phone was handed back to me my helper said it might take a few minutes to finish.   Over nine hours later I still see the “Waiting for Activation: This may take some time.” Yes, I have attempted to reboot the phone. I believe I am approaching the fifteenth attempt to no avail. I have also synced my phone to iTunes a handful of times.   I’m trying not to be bitter but this is extremely frustrating, especially with dozens of “all you need to do is reboot, it works!” messages. Any help is greatly appreciated, as tech support by phone is almost impossible on release day.

I activated my Iphone4 and it said no sim found. I took the sim out put it back in and the phone worked. Five minutes later said no sim. Took it to the AT&T store and had a new sim put in. The phone worked for a few minutes then went back to no sim. Spent a few hours on home phone with apple. Tried reset but still happening. No answers from apple. Has anyone else had this happen?
