hey guys so i just got my iphone 4 from ebay i put my sim card in everything is working flawlessly but i got on the att website and it already says my device is apple iphone 4 so i tried to change my basic unlimited data plan 2 the iphone 2gb data plan it seemed everything was good but i went to the last page and it gave me an error and idk what to do. so if some1 could help me il be so greatful or if you can tell me how to get to the tech chat so i cant talk to a representive

I brought a iphone 3g from ebay i believe its locked to at&t however i live in the uk and dont want to use at&t so how do i get it unlocked?
Hello ,,  Simply, i bought an at&t IPhone 4 from ebay and the seller told that the IPhone is officially unlocked.  any way i didn’t receive the phone yet.  but actually I didn’t believe him because you know it is impossible except the jailbreak and the unlock method.  He said: Yes I bought it from AT&T but i made sure that they did not activate it, ensuring it is unlocked and not set to one mobile carrier.  Finally, what do you think ?

I already have an AT&T account with a 8gig iphone 3gs. I want a 32gig 3gs. Can I buy one from ebay and then have AT&T just transfer my phone # and account information from my old phone to this new one, or do I HAVE to buy it directly from AT&T or apple? Â
