My phone has been cycling in between “No-Service” and full bars all day with intermittant spans of 3G service.  I switched to Edge to get things operative again, despite slower.  Has any one listened of any network outtages in my area?

I systematic an iPhone 3GS ascent on the AT&T website.  I have a family devise and I systematic it opposite Line A (which was ascent eligible) though longed for to turn on it on Line B (which was not).  I review here in the FAQs which this was OK, and was additionally told this on the phone by AT&T reps.     Today I called in prior to activation to get things bound (Business Care).  I was told all was OK.  But right away the iPhone is activated and functions on Line A, not Line B.  (i.e. it rings when Line A is called, and it shows Line A as tourist ID when creation effusive calls).     So what do I do now?  Two apart calls to Business Care resulted in 2 opposite answers:   Answer A:  They told we wrong.  You have to go get a latest SIM label for your iPhone from an AT&T store, and re-activate your phone.   Answer B:  We can’t repair it, we have to call Apple Care.   Both of these answers smell similar to BS to me, though what do I know?   What recommendation do we all have to give me?  Thanks so much.
