New icon next to bluetooth

I just exchanged my i4 today with a new i4 at my local Apple store.  I came home and synced everything and it appears to be working fine.  I see a new icon which I never saw before, it looks like a telephone above a keyboard or about 7 pots below it.  Would this be showing that TTY or something like that is enabled?  If so, how does one disable that?

Question about email and the data package

How much does the email take off the 2g data package?   Like how does it work? Will it affect me everytime someone emails me? I’m confused?

so i clicked photos and then the little world icon, and wow!! it had the exact spots! how does it know that even tho this wasnt out when i took the pictures?

Double warranty coverage with certain credit cards

American Express Platinum offers an automatic doubling of a product’s warranty coverage when you use it for the purchase.    But how does that work with the iPhone? With Apple’s warranty any extension is normally an extension of AppleCare (which encompasses many features and services, not just straight warranty work).   Anybody here have any experience or knowledge with this process, and how it would be used in the event of a claim?   Thanks.
