Should battery life increase if you turn off 3G while your not downloading anything or using the net, and use half max brightness.. (I dont really like my itouch or anything full brightness) should i get more battery time than advertised?
Will AT&T offer the iPad 3G service to iTouch owners? Seems like the iTouch is a minature iPad, and I bet a lot of iTouch owners like me would be interested in the AT&T 3G + wifi service.
I absolutely need a new phone so I am thinking my itouch is broken too so I will buy an iphone. My question is am I eligible for regular prices. Last time I was in my local at&t store the guy told me I was eligible for upgrade in September. I wind up reading a bunch of stuff that doesn’t make any sense regarding upgrades and prices. They say call *NEW# (from your iphone, I called it from a old Cingular phone) And apparently I am eligible for upgrade. It says some thing like ATT can offer a new 2 year contract for $18. So I am wondering if that means I can get the iphone at the regular price (iphone 4 32GB $299) come June 24th. Please clarify this for me.Â
Once I receive my new Iphone 4, is it possible to use the 3G phone with wifi only. I was thinking my husband could basically use like an Itouch for the music, apps and such but not make any calls. Is this possible?
I read on macrumors that the ipad wont support adobe flash……Is there a good reason why Apple doesnt allow flash on the itouch, iphone, or ipad?
Okay, so I searched a bit for this and didn’t find it, and just thought it’d be another neat little thing to share, since it’s semi-unknown, haha. When you are on your “Now Playing” screen (when you are playing music), put your finger on the volume slider (don’t have to move it, just put your finger ON it) and rotate your iTouch/iPhone sideways so you get the CoverFlow. The music will automute. To unmute it you have to use the volume keys (excluding the 1st Gen iTouch) or rotate back to portrait and then slide the volume up. I just found this interesting, as I was playing music the other night and had my finger on the volume in case my girlfriend came outside to talk to me and ended up rotating it and the music muted. Neat little sort of pointless, but has it’s perks feature.
Okay, this is more of a lazy question, because I don’t feel like investigating myself… So I have an iPhone with all of my music on it. I also have an iTouch with all of my music. Occasionally I will play music on my iPhone, but primarily it’s only used as an iPod when I’m driving and can plug it in. However, the iTouch is being used more and more to play music on the go. Both have the exact same library on them. They also have three smart playlists (which yes, I know they only update when synced with iTunes, since something is goofy with the smart lists) which rely on the playcount. I was wondering how the playcount works when synced across the iPhone to and from the iTouch and iTunes. Here’s what I’m asking…. I have songs A, B, C and D. On the iTouch, I play song A 5 times. On the iPhone, I play song B 5 times. On BOTH, I play song C 5 times. On my computer, I play song D 5 times. Now, how are they all going to sync? If I plug the iTouch in first, will it show that I played song A and C 5 times, and iTunes will update song D on the iTouch, but when I plug in the iPhone, it’ll show that I didn’t play song A, so it’ll modify the playlist? Or when I sync the iPhone, will it update song C twice, one for the iTouch, one for the iPhone, so it’ll show that I played it 10 times (correct)? Or will it only see that song C was played on one device? My main reason is that I want to know how I should expect my smart lists to function when being spread out over three devices…
