Tried to call the activations line and recieved a message that the system is down. Tried to call customer care and they are closed. Registration Problems

We just picked up our new IPhones yesterday and while trying to register them today ran into a problem. We have the current version of Itunes that we downloaded this week. When I hook up my wife's phone to register it, I'm asked if I want to restore the factory settings on the phone. If I do this will this wipe out any of her contacts that were transferred from her previous phone? Also, will it wipe out her calendar reminders that she set up last night? Thanks for the help. I didn't think we'd run into problems just trying to register the phones.

Help! Custom ringtones in itunes, show as sync’d with iPhone, but there is still a problem

I just got my 3GS last week. I created 6 custom ringtones by changing file to AAC and changing the file to m4r and each ringtone is between 18 – 28 seconds. All 6 show up in the ringtone section of my iTunes library AND the ringtones section of my iPhone when looking at the sync’d files while connected to iTunes.   Here’s the problem: In the settings--> sounds--> ringtones section it only shows 4 of the 6 custom ringtones. And only 4 show up when I want to change a ringtone in a contacts file.   Ironically, the shortest and longest length ringtones show up (18 and 28 seconds). Very strange. Can someone please help me with this?
