New OS on PC. How to transfer playlists to iTunes from iPhone
I just replaced my operating system, completing a clean install on my laptop. In iTunes, my songs are displayed but none of my playlists after I transfered my songs from another computer and backed up my iPhone in the new system. Is that something I have to do manually? I thought the playlists automatically transfer to iTunes during backup. Am I mistaken? Thanks.

iPhone doing some strange things lately.
A few weeks ago it would continue to freeze up when I played my iPod, so I took it back and got another phone. Everything worked great until yesterday. I downloaded a new app and decided to try the game out. I played it for about 3 minutes and decided to quit. I noticed a few minutes later that my battery was dying at rapid rate. Even though I closed the app, the battery went from 68% to less than 10% in 2 hours. I took it home to restore it. I restored the phone to a new version. I kept it plugged into my laptop all night. When I went to sleep the battery was at 72%. When I woke up this morning it was completely dead even though it was plugged up all night. I did another restore this morning and decided to not put any apps on my phone at this time and test it out that way. It's been 15 minutes and the battery has lost 4% battery life even though I'm not running any programs on it. I love my iPhone, but this will be the 3rd phone in just 5 months and and when I owned the 3G I had to exchange it a few times also. Do I just have bad luck or these phones are just not made to last that long? I've had similar issues with the nanos as well where I had to exchange them.

Music on iPhone disappeared after syncing.
I've never had this happen before. I synced my iPhone then my nano. The nano has all of my music, but this morning I pull up my music on my iPhone and it says no content. I go to settings, general and about. The music appears to be taking up space because I have a 32 gig iPhone and it only has 20 gig available which is about right considering I have about 100 apps and 1600 songs. Have any of you ever had this happen before? I don't have my laptop with me, so I have to wait till I get home to try to fix it, but I just thought this was very odd.

iPhone 3G and 3GS Internet Tethering already available from Apple. What’s your hold up AT&T?
You would think with all the 3G networking that AT&T claims they have, plus all the Laptop Connect Cards that they throw out there that they would have been prepared to release (or at least been able to release to those of us paying great amounts of money for UNLIMITED Data) by the end of the summer like they promised. Instead I am still waiting for them to unlock this feature in my AT&T iPhone 3G and 3GS's too which Apple has already given us wholeheartedly. I am thoroughly displeased with this and want to know what is going on? Instead of preparing yourselves and your data network infrastructure for this pertinent and significant feature, you have wasted your time with MMS? Please! Every network can MMS. My Great-Grandmother's network can MMS from the grave. VOICESTREAM COULD MMS AND THEY ARE DEAD AND GONE!!! AT&T give me my answer! Funny thing about me starting this thread... I called Customer Service just to give them this cool constructive about wanting my "iPhone tethering as promised" feedback. I wasn't rude or hostile about it and the CSR was very polite and helpful, but AT&T did not have any screen for her to take feedback or complaints with!?!? Really? The only option AT&T did give her to give to me was SnailMail (Yeah right) or these nominally unread forums. They seriously want me to believe that they are going to read this and take it to heart? (I'll believe it when I see/experience it.) Plus they leave these poor CSR's hanging when someone wants to generate honest and genuine feedback to HELP THEM!!! I would have settled for a web-feedback form that someone could have answered by email directly to me, but they don't even have that!!! Man, not good for my first month with AT&T. Anyways, anyone else have thoughts on these two subjects I would be glad to hear them. Mostly this is being posted to see if AT&T actually does read these things.

iPhone wireless connection
My original iPhone was stolen, so I bought a replacement. Seems like everything came back to normal after syncing with iTunes on my laptop, but wireless access isn't working correctly. The wireless icon shows up next to the AT&T signal bars in the upper left corner of my iPhone. Can't connect using Safari. When attempting to get Mac mail I get "The connection to the server "mail.mac.com" failed. When attempting to set up my Yahoo mail account I get "The IMAP server "imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com" is not responding. ... " I am online now on my laptop on the same network as my iPhone and I have reset all settings twice. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can’t connect 3G to my Belkin WiFi
So I have had my 3G for a few weeks now and love it. When I got it and got home I immediatly connected it to my Linksys wireless router and worked great. It is a secured network. Well I was givin a Belkin N router for free so decided to install it because our laptop was running really slowly. Got it installed and is a secured network. Laptop works great now but the 3G wont connect to it. Sometimes I can enter the password and it will take and go to WiFi then once I go to Safari it drops and goes back to 3G network. I can search for other networks and find my neighbors, who is unsecured, and connect to it fine and is great. Why can't I connect to my Belkin?

I don’t need a WM device anymore.
I no longer need the windows applications, but have a question: Will the iphone and my laptop sync my calendar and contacts? Presently I use MS Office 2007 on my laptop with Outlook for my calendar and contacts. What do you use on an iPhone, if anything.

Authorize/deauthorize computers?
Apparently, between my laptop and two computers (3 total), I've already authorized five times. I built a new computer this past week, getting rid of one I've had for years, so now want to authorize this one to work with my iPhone. You know the drill. I can't do it on this one because I've reached the max. But not really, because there are only three. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance.
