iPhone 3GS not able to send MMS/Contacts

Hello all. I am having an issue with my iPhone. I cannot send MMS pix/vids/contacts. I can receive just fine but they will not send for some reason. I have been to both AT&T and Apple and they have done all they can. They have run tests, re-provisioned the MMS, and even gave me a new SIM card. Apple is claiming they cannot give me a new phone because of water damage, which I understand. This problem began happening last week. The water damage occurred in September so I doubt there is any relation. With that being said, what should I do? I am running the latest software (3.1.3) so that's not the issue. And it is the latest carrier file (6.5) so I am stuck.    Any suggestions?   Thanks in advance!

iPhone 3G – "No Service" Loop, only EDGE works. (3.1.3 fw)

Hi, folks. Maybe you've heard of this issue. I'm looking for a little help with it.    I just got off the phone with AT&T Customer Support and they were very nice and helpful; however, my issue is unresolved.   This issue only started happening since I upgraded and re-jailbroke my 3G to the latest 3.1.3 firmware. No issues during the JB process, activated normally on boot and service was rock-solid. After about a day, it appears the iPhone is unable to hold a connection with a 3G tower.    On my 3G, I seem to only be able to use EDGE service by disabling 3G in the Settings > General > Network menu. This only works by using an app named "Fuzzyband" and rolling back to an older baseband. Otherwise, the experience is complete service outage.   I know I'm 'on my own' since I would be using unauthorized firmware; however, I believe this is an issue some other iPhone 3G Jailbroken users need to know about. I'm equally curious if there is a solution or workaround working.    Thoughts? Have any others been impacted by this or just me? Either case, just a friendly warning to those who seek 3.1.3 jailbreak on their devices that it is unstable and might not work for you.

Time frequently inaccurate

I've got an iphone 3GS running the latest firmware (3.1.3. I think).  Over the past two days, I find that the time on my phone is an hour slow.  I have the set automatically setting set to ON.  I believe that this means that my clock is set by the cell towers.   All of my friends that also have 3GS iphones are having the same issue.  Theirs are worse though being 3 - 5 hours off.  I checked Apple's site and didn't find any information on this.    If I change the setting to off, it goes back to the right time.    Can anyone help?  Thanks

iPhone Settings – Carrier Tab

The iPhone settings menu is supposed to have a "Carrier" tab near the top of the screen (near to or directly under the "Wi-Fi" tab).  But my brand new iPhone doesn't have it. Any ideas why this is, or how to fix it?     I don't do (nor do I want to do) any jailbreaking or hacking or anything like that. If AT&T simply has this feature blocked for whatever reason, that's fine; I would just like to know what the situation is.  I have the latest 3.1.3 firmware update.    Many thanks for your time. unable to receive text messages from Verizon users

I've had an iPhone 3G since 12/08 and have had no problems. However, since early 11/09 I've been unable to receive text messages from friends who use Verizon. they receive my text messages and they can also send messages to other AT&T users & iPhone (3G & 3GS) users without a problem. seems to be just me. I've contacted AT&T and they say my settings are fine, it's a Verizon issue. My friends have contacted verizon and verizon says their settings are fine, it's an AT&T issue. I'm a bit tired of getting the run around and just want the problem solved. my phone has the latest updates, i've power cycled it, etc... Any thoughts?

Receiving MMS

I have updated my iPhone with the latest 3.01 or newest version two nights ago after we were informed we could mms.  I can send them, but I cannot get them from other phone(s).  The sender gets an error message that it was not sent.  I have mms turned on in settings, even added subject just so there would be no conflict.  What is the issue here?

"10 MB download exceeded" error message while downloading a podcast over 3G

I seem to remember purchasing an "unlimited data plan" for my iPhone and thought that Apple/AT&T had loosened the restrictions on utilizing iTunes while on the 3G network. What exactly is the policy on this and where can one find this language? Could not find it on either companies' site.   Just an FYI...using an iPhone 3G with all the latest software updates in SF
