I picked up my iPhone 4 today, thought it was great until after many tests againt my wifes 3GS and if I turn the 3G on on the 4, the internet, email, etc., runs like crap. Very slow, sometimes times outs trying to load web sites. My wifes 3GS smokes it in every way using 3G. If I use the Edge instead of the 3G, it runs 10 times better than the 3G. Any one else having this issue?

Has anyone upgraded their iPhone 3G to iOS4 and experienced a decrease in the phone’s performance? I upgraded the OS last week and since then the phone is EXTREMELY slow to open aps, load web pages, etc. Rebooting had no effect, and as far as web surfing, clearing the cookies, history and cache resulted in the same slow web performance.
