I’m one of those who isn’t too concerned with antenna issue, but Apple needs to say something about it. There is also speculation from a few websites that the white iPhone 4 will be delayed even further with all of these issues with the antenna. I’m wanting to upgrade another line with the white iPhone 4, so my patients is about to run out.   Bottom line is this is bad public relations. Staying quiet is just ticking people off even more, so they need to address all of the issues with the iPhone 4 and also say something about the white one. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, on June 7th during the keynote, they announced the iPhone 4 would be in black and white, they didn’t say anything about a delay.   I don’t know of one company in the US that could get away with the things that Apple is getting away with. Before you defend them, could Honda announce that a new model vehicle gettting 60mpg is coming out on September 24th and on September 23rd they announce there’s been a delay and it won’t be available until the 2nd half of October or could Samsung announce that they have new flat screen TV that will be available on October 1st and then on September 30th they annouce it won’t be available to around Christmas?? Sorry to rant on the other scenarios, but so many defend Apple, but even this loyal customer is sick of the way they seem to get away with a lot more than other companies could.

Yes! Yes! Yes! ive posted this in 2 locations but i felt it wa important enough to do…     Has anyone read this:   http://www.gizmodo.com/5584231/att-microcell-fairy   -gifts-iphone-user-with-free-3g-microcell   http://www.engadget.com/2010/07/10/atandt-handing-   out-free-3g-microcells-to-loyal-customers     Id like to know how to get my own MicroCell tower. I have been anextremely loyal customer for the amount of issues I have experianced.

This happens every new iPhone launch, but it does get old.  People want to have the newest iPhone every year, which is fine, but they also want the price discounted every year. You agree to a 2 year contract which generally means that you are not eligible for an upgrade for 18 months.  You can get a discount earlier, but not a full upgrade.  I bought the 3G on launch date, but chose not to upgrade to the 3GS because I knew the next generation was coming this summer.  I could have paid more for the 3GS but didn’t think it was worth it.  Now I get the full upgrade price.  I didn’t whine last year because I couldn’t get a 3GS at a discount. I knew I agreed to a 2 year contract. I’ve had my phone 2 years almost and it still works great.  If you want the new version every year, then be prepared to pay for it.  No one wants to hear you whine because you think AT & T should make an exception for you because you’ve been a loyal customer for X years.  You were rewarded for that loyalty by getting a discount on other phones. Take personal responsibility for your actions and stop blaming someone else. Next year when they come out with the next generation, I won’t be able to get it at the full discount.  My options will be wait, or pay more. I am fine with that.  I accept responsibility for my actions in purchasing the iPhone 4 now.  Quit whining already.  If you don’t qualify for a discount, too bad. Go to Verizon.

Why am I paying $699 to be a consistent, loyal customer (having upgraded to the 3GS when it came out – been on the iPhone since it came out)? Why is it (much) cheaper to break my contract, have to get another number, and then I can get the $299 price? “Just because” from customer service doesn’t cut it. I’m willing to pay $499, which is what I thought I would pay when all the pricing came out, but you better act fast AT&T, because I will remember this when other carriers come knocking.

I purchased the iPhone 3GS on launch day in 2010 and my upgrade date is still 2/11/2011 I am not eligible for the iPhone 4 at the subsidized price! However all of my friends who ALSO bought the iPhone 3GS on the SAME DAY and have the same rate plan I do ARE eligible! What gives AT&T? I just want to buy the new iPhone and I have been a loyal customer for years.

Wow. What a fiasco!!! I bought the iPhone only to find out that I can’t use it outside of US with other carriers. That makes the iPhone completely useless to me. Great job AT&T & Apple. Being a loyal customer for over 7 years – the only thing I can think of now is when I contract expires to I can switch to another company. Way to go!

I lost my iPhone while on vacation which was traumatizing enough. Now I’m utterly disgusted at AT&T & Apples policy for replacement. I will either have to purchase another 32g 3G for full price $450-500 or renew my contract for another 2yrs for the refurbished model!!! Mind you I’ve been an Apple supporter for years but this treatment to a loyal customer is appalling. I’m sure there are others before me and more to follow who have had/will have to experience:smileysad: this coldhearted treatment. So from all of us I say…{Please keep it courteous and do not go around the word filter}

I bought an iPhone two months ago with an extended warranty oblivious to the fact AT&T and Apple would put me through hades when a problem arose. My phone suddenly will only work with a headset. I went to the website and performed all the suggestions but nothing fixed it. The website said I would need a new phone. I went to the AT&T store two hours from my home and was told to call Apple. I did call from the store and was told they needed to charge my credit card $600 to send me a new phone. It would eventually be credited back. Now I am at the AT&T store. Why couldn’t my phone have been replaced while I was there? Now I am driving another two hours to an apple store where I have been assured my phone will be looked at. I will not be renewing my contract with AT&T. I have been a loyal customer for at least two decades. This disappoints me greatly.

I hate my iPhone!!!
