I had an iPhone 3G for the last year and never exceeded 200MB says my past data usage graph on my account. Alot of the time I never even passed 100MB (I am on wifi almost the entire day)

I got an iPhone 4 almost exactly a month ago. On Friday, the last day of of my billing cycle, I got a message saying I had used 90% of my data plan. Okay, I can accept that.

Then today, on the second day of my new billing cycle, I got message saying I have used 65% of my 200MB. How is this possible? I have literally been on WIFI 99% of the last 2 days.

I tried to see exactly how much I have used but the ATT website says I have used 1MB and that it can take sometimes up to several days to update, so that’s worthless.

Dont see how I could go from using 200MB in a month to over 100MB in one day.

Hello all.  I upgraded from the iPhone 3G to the Samsung Captivate.  I kept the unlimited data plan and the iPhone as a backup phone and to use as an iPod Touch.  Recently I tried putting the SIM card back into the phone because I wanted to use a radio app on 3G that’s not on Android at work (where WiFi is limited).   The iPhone could recognize the SIM and I could use it to make calls, but I cannot access data over Edge or 3G.  I get a message saying I’m not subscribed.  So….am I S.O.L. when it comes it iPhone data?

Is anyone having problems with ordering Ballistic Iphone4 cases?      WHen I bought my Iphone here in SanAntonio I ordered a Ballistic case at the same time.  After about 10 days the iphone was delivered.  However, the case never came. After about three weeks I tried calling the local store and would always get a message saying everyone was busy. So I emailed the salesperson and she said her manager checked and said the order was pending.  I called Ballistic thinking the order was coming from them.  They said they had shipped the cases to AT&T weeks ago and it was up to  AT&T to deliver them.  More time went by and I again tried to email my salesperson and no reply.   Finally, after  almost five weeks of waiting I got an email from AT&T   (See Below)   I live at the same address the Iphone was sent to.  I used the same credit card to order both items and I think AT&T is still selling Ballistic.    Anyone else having this problem?    I emailed the  AT&T salesperson again and I’ll wait a day or so to see what happens  and then I’ll order directly from Ballistic rather then AT&T.  I called Ballistic once and emailed them twice and they are always very polite and friendly and try to be helpful.     COPY OF EMAIL FROM AT&T   This is to notify you that your order has been cancelled. This could be due to one of the following reasons:     The product is no longer available Invalid shipping address Invalid credit card information     We strive to minimize canceled orders and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Your credit card was not charged for this order.   If you are still interested in this item, please return to the nearest store location to place another order. A sales representative will be happy to work with you to offer an alternative product, correct your shipping address or place an order using an alternative form of payment.    We value you as a customer and hope you will continue to count on AT&T for all your communications needs.    Regards,    AT&T

Hi guys,     I had checked with AT&T (*NEW#) and got a message saying that I am eligible for the iPhone upgrade with the $18 upgrade fee waived. However, when I placed my order, the receipt shows that AT&T has charged me an $18 upgrade fee. Do you guys think that final bill will have this fee waived, or would I need to get in touch with an AT&T rep to get it waived?     Thanks…

I just got the iPhone 3GS – upgraded from regular iPhone 3G.

A couple months back I changed the OS on my computer. But when I went to re-install iTunes, obviously, those songs are no longer there. Of course, I still have my songs, playlists, albums, etc. on the iPhone but if I go to synch music, I get a message saying my iPhone is set up on a different computer (its the same computer, just different OS, so its not recognizing). So it says it will erase the iPhone, and replace them with songs on iTunes (comparatively few). Is there a way to put my songs, playlists, and albums back on iTunes directly from the iPhone so I can continue with what I have? Or do I have to start the whole process again of having to manually rip and enter my CDs? Thanks.

I just got a new laptop. I want to now sync my iPhone with the new laptop, instead of the old one. Are there instructions anywhere on how to make the change?   When I installed iTunes on the new computer and tried to sync my phone with it, I got a message saying that it would wipe out all of the music, video and apps from the phone. I can change the music and video over since none of it is protected. I don’t know what to do about the apps, though. I’ve paid for some of them and want to keep them.   I really wish that there was a setting in iTunes that let us determine which way a sync goes on any given time. I’d feel so much more secure knowing I wasn’t going to wipe out everything and that I could just back it up to my computer when needed. I’m not really fond of the Apple “Big Brother” approach.
