Considering Iphone 3gs

I am considering purchasing an Iphone 3gs. I am not very tech savvy, so I do have some questions about service and reception. 1. Will the phone service and reception be better with an Iphone? 2. I have a cabin in the woods and cannot get phone service with my current cell phone and only have a dial-up connection for the internet. Will I be able to use the Iphone at my cabin.? 3. Can I use the mobile internet on my Iphone while riding in my car? Thank you!

Is there some programme to use Yahoo Answers from mobile phone?

How to sync contacts from your mobile phone to the internet?
