Windows Mobile was OK, now wants to try iPhone. Spent about an hour at the local Apple Store with 3G, like the overall UI much better. Currently have $30 monthly data plan, and my voice contract has expired. Can I install the current Tilt SIM into “new” 3G from Graiglist/eBay without having ATT force me to commit to another 2 yrs. Want to have the freedom to upgrade to newer iPhone when it is released later in the year, but the Tilt is about at the end of it’s life now. Greatly appreciate any advise.

how to change tilt on iphone, how to change the tilt on iphone 3GS

well problem resolved… wow i never got a chance to reply on my old thread it got locked. WOW….. i called ATT they PERSONALLY disconnected and BLOCKED  i mean BLOCKED all internet access on my 2g iphone… i already have the S so its useless having the 2g monthly data package…..you talk about jailbreaking and etc…. some people on these forums know more than the MODS so please dont be rude……. some people on these forums probably make more anually then the mods so don’t disrespect and trying to act all smart. P. S. this is coming from a USC M.D. student ok so thats it. Jailbreaking doesnt solve anything i had to change and add some VPN settings on the phone to resolve my voicemail problem. p s jailbroken 3gs is probably the best thing apple did. I love the free tom tom gps

Hello all,   I am a current AT&T customer wishing to downgrade from the iPhone, as I cannot afford the continuous $30 monthly data plan.  However, I cannot afford a new device at this time, and figured that if I were to sell my iPhone (on eBay let’s say) and get a good profit, I could use that to buy the new phone.  Is there any way that I can sell my iPhone BEFORE I go to the store and upgrade to a new device? This would be much preferrable as it might take me a little while to save up the money for a new phone.  I have an old RAZR, if that helps…basically I want to know if there’s any way I can get a new upgrade after I sell my iPhone?  Will AT&T let me do this?? Any comments, help are greatly appreciated!! If this message is posted incorrectly please feel free to move it to the right location so I can get the best answer!   -CW
