So, I will expected be purchasing an iPhone 3Gs soon, though I have run in to an emanate which confuses me. I would set up and sync my iPhone with my Macbook Pro at work. However, my personal song files reside on a Personal Computer at home. While the iPhone will offer especially as my PDA and phone, I would similar to to put a little song on it. 

 

Most of my song at home is only ripped from CDs (mostly 1980′s stuff), and I know I can manually send the files to my Mac at work regulating a CD or peep drive, though I am wondering what would occur if (after environment up and activating the phone on my Mac) I continuous my iPhone to my Personal Computer at home. Would iTunes see it as only an additional iPod and concede me to send song to the phone?  

 

By the way, involuntary syncing in iTunes is incited off.
