My iPhone 4 stopped working earlier today, won’t turn on / charge / anything and i was wondering if it’s possible to activate my 3gs to use while my iPhone 4 is broken.

I know apple made the super sweet move to put micro sims in the 4 so I’m assuming I can’t just switch the sim.

I ordered my iPhone on 7/10, and it came off backorder yesterday and is now scheduled to arrive in a few hours. Â Just preparing by downloading some apps to iTunes. Â Do I need to install the software update for iOS 4.0.1, or should the phone automatically come with that? Â Also, advice on essential apps would be much appreciated – I’m new to the iPhone thing!
Hi, Â My dad and sister both have 3gs iphones and they are on an unlimited data plan. I am on the same family plan but I do not have an iphone. If I buy an iphone 4, am I able to join their unlimited data plan? Any help would be much appreciated! Â Â Thanks, Â Reilly
