I did the iOS 4.1 update and now have problems with my proximity sensor not working properly. I can press number keys and end the call when I am on the phone. I did not have PS problems before the update. I understand that the update was supposed to improve the PS, and has for other users. Has anyone else had issues since the update, but didn’t have them before?
I am hearing that the proximity sensor (the sensor that blanks the screen out when on a call) on the iPhone 4 is not working consistently with some phones. It will intermittently turn the screen back on and off again while in a call – causing calls to be disconnected, muted or put on inadvertent conference by dialing while the phone is up to your ear.  Anyone else having this problem?  -Rob

Good morning. Please I need your help. I have an Iphone 2G(First generation) since 2007, lock, and active with att. My Iphone is not working at this moment its screen is dark and I cannot use it. I want to replacement or obtain other Iphone 2G. I dont want 3G, 3Gs or iphone 4. I want and like Iphone 2g because it is to easy for me to use it, and dont want to sign contrac again by Iphone 2G. My Iphone is not working propely due to a minor water spill and my friend is giving me his since he no longer has att&t but my question is do I have to go to apple so that they can do the changes or I just put my sim card in it and if I do will it void my protection plan since that is not my original phone?????

Last friday I was drinking coffe in my car and accidently spill like a sip of coffe on my iphone and now the battery is not working, it only last about 40 minutes. I know if I take it to apple they will noticed the spill, has anyone have experience this?? if so should I just take it and pay the 200 dlls to get another one? or is there something I can do???

Any idea of what might be causing this? Sometimes the screen is not even responding to the touch. Sometimes turning on by itself every couple minutes or so. I rebooted it a couple times but still not working normal. Also, I tried updating software and it didn’t solve the issue. How can this be fixed?
is there any way to reset the Kyocera ( NYSE: KYO ) x-tc cell phone besides taking out the battery. My keys are not working and only the end button.
