No, I have the Sprint version of the HTC touch and Sprint has disabled that ability and replaced it with EVDO which is Sprints high speed data program also known as Vision or Power Vision. The Touch does have the ability to receive WiFi but not with Sprints version. It is well worth the $15/month to have Vision if you like to use mobile internet. Mobile webistes are growning and there is more and more content everyday. Also being able to use the Touch to check email or Instant message is awesome wtih the Touch and Instant Messaging is free with the Touch unlike some other Sprint phones and pda’s.
