Recovery from Restore: How to Delete GROUP contact numbers from phone
I recently had a bad experience when I used my USB to get pic's etc..off my IPhone. I had wedding pic's video etc..and when I first plugged in the USB it promopted me to install update for I-Tunes...in the middle of update, my phone"froze" and my only option was to do a RESTORE. This caused me to lose all pic's etc..I had in my phone. When I did the restore, I was at work on my work computer and it tranferred ALL MYOUTLOOK CONTACTS into my address book, and I lost all my personal contact numbers-only leaving e-mail addresses that I had in my personal outlook folder. What I need help with is deleting all the "outlook contact data" out of my phone only leaving my personal contact list. Is there a way to delete an entire group from my phone, I have been unable to figure out how to do this. THANKS! MG

updating Twitter and FB fan page
Greetings, I am getting closer and closer to upgrading my phone. I have some specific requirements for my next phone. In my work, I often need to update a company twitter account and a company Facebook page (not my personal profile). I would like to do both with one swipe. I have heard that Tweetdeck on an iPhone may work for this task. Anyone else doing something similar? If so, how do you do it? Being a one man office makes it impossible to just call into work and have someone update these accounts for me. I have to do it from the field. My Treo 700p is just not cutting it. I am thinking the iPhone may be the best answer for me, but I wanted to get some info before paying an ETF to leave Verizon and signing up for a new 2-year contract. Thanks for your input.

sync on a Mac, music on a PC – iPhone?
So, I will likely be purchasing an iPhone 3Gs soon, but I have run into an issue that confuses me. I would set up and sync my iPhone with my Macbook Pro at work. However, my personal music files reside on a PC at home. While the iPhone will serve mainly as my PDA and phone, I would like to put some music on it. Most of my music at home is just ripped from CDs (mostly 1980's stuff), and I know I can manually transfer the files to my Mac at work using a CD or flash drive, but I am wondering what would happen if (after setting up and activating the phone on my Mac) I connected my iPhone to my PC at home. Would iTunes see it as just another iPod and allow me to transfer music to the phone? By the way, automatic syncing in iTunes is turned off.

Switching from regular GoPhone to iPhone 2g
Hey everyone, I currently have a regular Pick-Your-Plan phone and I was wondering, I still have my iPhone 2G. Is it possible to put in my SIM card from my regular GoPhone into the iPhone and it will work with my account? If so, how do I go about doing that and activating the iPhone and setting up the correct data plan that is required with it? Thanks!!

Is it possible to get the iPhone 3GS without changes to the voice plan?
I'm currently using att, and my son is on tmobile. He wants to use the iPhone. I want to get the iPhone at the discounted rate, give it to my son so he can use it on tmobile after unlocking. Is it possible for me to get the iPhone 3GS for the discounted price, extend my contract for 2 yrs, but make no changes to my current plan?
