Yahoo IM app.

Hello..I am going to just use the yahoo IM app for the Iphone to IM my friends on their cells...so far,no issues,BUT 2 of my friends...one is ATT customer,not sure who the other has...well,when i try to IM their phones,it tells me that the number is either formatted wrong (think thats what it says,lol,something LIKE that anyway) or that their carrier does not support what I am trying to do.I have texted them BOTH before through regular text...any thoughts on why I ma getting this error message?? Registration Problems

We just picked up our new IPhones yesterday and while trying to register them today ran into a problem. We have the current version of Itunes that we downloaded this week. When I hook up my wife's phone to register it, I'm asked if I want to restore the factory settings on the phone. If I do this will this wipe out any of her contacts that were transferred from her previous phone? Also, will it wipe out her calendar reminders that she set up last night? Thanks for the help. I didn't think we'd run into problems just trying to register the phones.

For this reason, people who work around radioactive isotopes must be very careful, and those used in procedures like medical imaging have very short half lives, meaning that they quickly decay and are expressed by the body. So far, there have been many studies on possible connections between cell phones and cancer. For example, in one study involved over a large number of participants who all used cell phones for many years, researchers were unable to find evidence that cell phones cause cancer. Activating new iphones…

We ordered our iphones online, received them today, and I currently have them charging (Step 1).   We still have other cell service with another provider, and want to have our old cell numbers transferred to the new iphones (and then cancelled).   I want to follow the rest of the steps so I can start playing with my iphone, but my fiance wants to take the phones to the AT&T store to have THEM activate the phones when they transfer our numbers over. It seems to me that it would be okay to go through the rest of the steps and start playing with my phone, then have the store transfer the old number later today.   Is that right?

iPhone 3GS problems sendings text and mms to other cellphones

Hi everyone,   I'm a current ATT iPhone 3GS customer. My phone is everything default as i bought it. I'm having problems sending the text and multimedia messages to other phones everytime. Sometimes the person receives the messages and mms and sometimes doesn't. I called ATT customer support multiples times and they have been doing alot of troubleshooting but no luck on solving my issue. I do receive all the sms and mms from any cellphone provider. I would like to know what i can do in order to solve this issue? I do enjoy sending sms and mms but its very disgusting that you pay for a sms and mms service and isn't working as expected or at least "normally". Any help will be appreciated,   Jorge

Unable to text between iPhones on the same account

5 days ago, text between the 2 iphones on my account stopped working.  Prior to that, I noticed that each text received from the other iPhone had a "Multimedia message" title.  But as of now,  text only works to other phones.  Wonder what could be wrong.
