My brother just signed up for a Family plan with 3 lines, and he got an iPhone, but mine isn’t so I went online to upgrade to an iPhone as well but it says I can get it for a full retail price, but doesn’t say how much, so how much is it? And do I have to get a data plan as well even though my brother signed up for one when he got the Family plan initially? I really need to know this because I don’t want to pay another $15 for a data plan that I won’t use since it has Wi-Fi.
I am currently on a family plan with two other phones that are eligible for upgrades. Would I be able to transfer one of their upgrades to my line and be able to keep my current unlimited data plan as well? I would be upgrading from an iPhone 3G to a iPhone 4 if that matters at all.
I currently have an iphone with the unlimited data plan. I am considering adding my son and daughter to my account and move to a family plan. With this move, each of them would have an iphone. Does the unlimited data family plan work for this, or does each person require their own data plan with the iphone? I would also add unlimited message family plan as well. If there is an economical way to bundle the data/messaging plans- please tell me! Thanks.
Sorry but this is *another* preorder question –  If I order myself an iPhone 4 tomorrow, and bring my wife on board a Family Plan, I was planning on getting her a temporary smart phone just so I wouldn’t have to stay with my old carrier.  Then what I wanted to do was switch my wife over to an iPhone 4 when more became available. Would I be able to do this under AT&T’s contract structure, or would I be breaking my original agreement somehow?  I just don’t want to have to stay with my old carrier & pay that plan as well for who knows how many months…  thoughts?
Does eBuddy use data package or do I need to purchase a data plan as well?
I am thinking of purchasing an iPhone, however i am confused with the cost. I am aware that you need a $30 data plan no matter what, in addition to this you need a calling plan, which would be around $50 at the cheapest. Is texting a required plan as well? If so, 200 would be the least amount one could buy? Or is unlimited Data and Messaging inclusive with the iPhone?
