My Family’s Tmobile plan ended last week, so we decided it was time to upgrade. We knew we wanted iPhones, but it wasn’t until we found out my company offered discounts through Premier that we decided to go for it. So we purchased three iphones w/ new svc. through Premier on December 18th (two new 3GS’s and one refurb iphone 4).

I was quite pleased after using their website and finding out that while premier didn’t give discounts on the phones, we would end up getting a slight discount on our service. The next day, I thought it was rather odd that our order status on Premier’s website said ‘attention’, and I also wanted to make sure all three numbers would be ported correctly to our new phones. I decided to make a phone call to them; I was on hold for about 15 minutes until someone came on the phone and assured me that everything was fine with the order and it should update by the end of the day. Well it didn’t update, so I called again that night, and after being on hold even longer, was told the same thing. So the next day goes by (3 days after purchase), and still nothing updates on their website. I tried one more phone call, which ended up being a nightmare of holding. I stayed on hold for over an hour by the time a representative same on the line to tell me, "let me check your account and put you on hold", I was put on hold for another 20 minutes, and it hung up on me >:-(

So at this point I figured I would just give up on calling them, although I was still worried that our phones wouldn’t be ported correctly, not to mention the fact that after browsing these forums for hours I was convinced that we might not ever see our phones. And then I also read some discouraging posts about refurb iphone 4′s that came in horrible condition… :( Well I figured that at this point, it was technically only 2 business days since our order (we placed it on a saturday night), and every rep said that our order was fine. So I decided to let them do their thing. Well…the next day, I decided to check our order status one more time, and sure enough it had changed to ‘processing’, then a couple hours later ‘shipped’ with an email and a tracking number.

We ended up getting our phones changed to overnight shipping that I certainly didn’t pay for. The iphone 4 refurb was actually no different than a brand new iphone, litterally brand new. Sure, the other two phones didn’t get the numbers ported correctly, but I called their porting dept. and had them changed in a matter of minutes.

All in all, I would like to say that AT&T certainly redeemed themselves from being a nightmare of a company. We have yet to see our first bill which may or may not show our premier discounts (which might be another issue), however I would like to offer this encouragement to anyone buying iphones through AT&T. While I’m still not sure I understand why their Premier order status page is so primitive and lacking, and their phone support is kind of a joke, I’m not as upset with them as I almost certainly would have been had they screwed up our order. Take from this what you will, I just thought I would post this review for anyone who is considering purchasing an iphone over the internet.

apple

We want to make the traditional Candy Apples, but instead of putting on a stick, we want to make apple wedges coated in the shell (easier to handle). The only problem I seem to be having is getting the candy to stick on the inside part (meat) of the apple. I also know I can only use certain apples that won’t begin to spoil (turn brown from air) after cutting them.
Any help would be great.
We have done the Caramel Apples (Full & Wedged) and have worked fine. It’s the Red Candy coating that we are having problems with.

I ordered my 16GB iPhone4 refurb on Oct 8th. Today will be the 16th business day and my order still says processing. No further updates, not listed as back-ordered. I am a Premier “FAN” customer, but I ordered the phone at a corporate store. Anyone else waiting for a phone? This is getting to be ridiculous.

I ordered two iphone 4′s on July 15. The order went throught fine, but then I got an email on the weekend saying my order needed more information.

I have been looking and it looks like At&t premier costumers get thier Iphone 4s faster than apple or the regular at&t people.. I just ordered my Iphone 4 through Premier today .(7/23/2010)

My order of 3 iPhone 4′s (16 gb) went from “processing” back to “received” I used that Premier website to order them and I ordered them on 7/8 and still have nothing saying they are coming in anytime soon…anyone else have this problem?

I ordered 4 iphones for a new family plan on 7/10 through the AT&T Premier site. It said “Attention!” for a few days before it moved to “processing.” On the regular AT&T site, it says my order date is 7/14. I read on some forums that AT&T tries to “keep your spot in line” from your Premier order date but I’m not so sure about that.   For those of you who ordered on Premier or are familiar with the process, which is the “real order date” – the Premier order date or the date it transferred to the regular AT&T website?   Thanks.

I see everyone noting a backorder status when they show their order status online. The Premier order status does not have this? Why are they different in this way? How can I tell if my iPhone 4 order is on backorder or not? I’ve tried calling CS a couple times, but had to hang up after being on hold for 30+ minutes
