I am looking for Honeycrisp apple trees and I can not find any web sites that have them without paying a arm and a leg for them. My local nursery does not have the honeycrisp.

Brand new iPhone4 replaced with a refurbished phone? Where is my $100?

I purchased my iPhone4 on 12/13 and within 48 hours it was malfunctioning. Due to the agreement with AT&T I had to go to the Apple store where they replaced it. I asked the "Genius" if it was a Refurbished phone as it came in a simple box not a new one, and he said [...]

I’m trying to buy one of the refurbished iPhone 4s, but I can’t find the “upgrade” button ANYWHERE. Can anyone help?

As soon as I ordered my Refurbished White iPhone 3Gs 16GB yesterday, it went on Backorder status. This definitely frustrated me, because the site seemed to be misleading in indicating it was in stock, when obviously it wasn’t?! Anyway, I came here to the forums and found that a lot of people were waiting a very long time on their purchases to come off of Backorder, process, ship, and get to their front door.   Anyway, I did some calling, and found that no one around my area has anything iPhone 3Gs in stock (Black or White), so I decided just to wait it out, and try complaining to AT&T to see if they could cut me some sort of break on my bill for.. well.. misleading me.   I checked back on the status of my order later last night, and lo and behold, my purchase (with the exception of a cancelled case) had been shipped! This caught me by surprise, and sort of made me nervous… the shipping date indicated it was shipped to me the day BEFORE I made the order. I clicked on the tracking number, and USPS varified that earlier in the afternoon, it had been Accepted in Fort Worth, and now.. well, I’m keeping track of that =) (It should be in Kansas City or Springfield, MO sometime today/tonight, and at my local Post Office for processing the day after tomorrow. Or, that’s how many mailing experiences from Mid-Texas have gone for me, at least.)   Anyway, the point of this was to let you all know my experience was confusing, but quick. I’ll let you know how shipping goes, but don’t be skeptical. If you want that phone, but you’re worried about the wait, look around. If no one has it, you might as well place the order and hope that you go through a similar experience.   Now, I get look forward to a limited data usage plan…  not. =P

I finally switched to AT&T from Verizon specifcially for the Iphone. I ordered over the phone on Thursday and finally got my terms and conditions email today 3 days later but now when I go to check my order status it says that the two refurb 16gb 3gs that I ordered under a family plan are on backorder. I ordered one in black and one in white. Does anyone know how long they will take to ship? I’m concerned since I ordered an Iphone for my husband who is currently on trial with Sprint. Next week his trial is over and I don’t want to pay an early termination fee but I don’t want him to be stuck without a cell phone. I must say that I was really hesitant to make the switch to AT&T because of the spotty service I heard about and now I’m questioning my decision even more. I explained the Sprint situation to two customer service reps when I was calling inquiring about the Terms & Conditions email and they all made it seem like the phone would ship as soon as I got the email and agreed to the terms and conditions. First, I never would have thought it would have taken 3 days to receive an email especially not in this day and age and second someone should have mentioned the phones were on backorder. Anyone with any experience with refurb phone?

I was just curious the main reason you all ended up with the iPhone. Whether it was the 2G, 3G, 3GS or now the 4. Did you get one because you already had AT&T? Or were you with another carrier and switched just to have it?   The iPhone is a different animal, if you will, in the cell phone world. A lot of phones TRY to be like it, and usually fall short. It has lots of bells and whistles and it’s ease of use is a very attractive feature. I knew a lot of people with iPhones before I switched from Verizon. Always disappointed and feeling like I was in 2nd place with any phone I thought was ‘the best for it’s time’, the iPhone always out shined anything I ever had. So I made the switch from Verizon because all the phones I ever had from Verizon never worked right and had to be replaced or repaired several times. I spent more time at Verizon’s ‘tech desk’ then I felt necessary. And most of the time I would either walk out with another refurbished phone, or was given a software update and told it would work ok now. NOT! Plus, I was curious about the iPhone. Last year I went with my friend to AT&T (who works for AT&T corporate) when she was looking to replace her Crackberry. I didn’t have the iPhone yet and was still with Verizon. I had to talk her into getting the iPhone. She didn’t think she would like it because of the virtual keyboard. She poo-pooed it at first, but ended up getting it and never looked back. I got mine a couple months later and then my Husband, Mom, and hubbys Mom…..   I loved my 3GS. I was tickled pink with it. I had one issue with my first phone with battery drainage and Apple replaced it. The phone worked flawlessly after that with only a few App hiccups here and there. But nothing related to the iPhones performance. Now my Mom has it and I still miss it, but I have the iPhone 4 now. Although I love the overall improvements of the 4, I like the shape (I know it’s silly) of my 3GS better. The 4 doesn’t sit in the hand as well and feels like it can slip out of your hand easier. The awesome screen, facetime, camera flash, faster processor, 5 MP camera are all great features. I just with they would of left the shape and didn’t try to mess with the reception by changing the antenna the way they did. That’s just my $.02….

My daughter’s iphone is cracked. Can I just buy a refurbished iphone from ATT.com and they’ll transfer her number to that? I know I have to re-sign a new contract, and I don’t care about that. I just want the same model (3gs) instead of upgrading to a iphone4. If this IS possible, do I just buy the refurb phone straight from the att website, then call att to transfer her phone # to this newly purchased refurb phone? So basically I want to “upgrade” to a refurbished phone, but no refurbs show up when I go through the ‘upgrade’ process. Or is that possible?

What exactly do they do to the refurbished phones they sell.  Is it worth buying a refurbished phone or are you buying someone else’s problems.   Thanks

I am on my second 1st gen iPhone (my 1st did not recognize iTunes or my SIM card)…through the Applecare Protection Plan I got another iPhone in it’s place-a refurbished 1st gen iPhone since Apple had begun making the 3g iPhone by this time. I have had this refurbished iPhone since June of 2009. This iPhone is not receiving/recognizing calls when they come in…it basically picks and chooses what goes through or registers on my iPhone. My iPhone also will not connect to iTunes, it jumps from connecting to iTunes, to deciding to “log off” of iTunes on it’s own. Does anyone else have this issue that still owns this ancient version of an iPhone? What I have tried: *Clearing out my iPhone completely-no contacts, apps, etc., and starting over again. *Shutting my iPhone down completely and bringing it back up again.   I have tried to trade in my iPhone for a newer version of the iPhone, however I do not qualify for a discounted price (on any phone at AT&T) because I am in a 2yr contract again with this iPhone-I have 16 more months to go. I do not want to pay 150.00 for At&t’s cheapest phone, however at this point my iPhone is pretty much a glorified iPod Touch at the moment.   If anyone has had this issue, or knows of anything else for me to try your help would be greatly appreciated!
