Does anyone know if I opt for the iPhone 4 case program, would I be able to return the iPhone within 30 days still?  Is there gonna be a restocking fee?

I don’t have a iPhone 4 yet, but planning to get one.  Just want to know my options.  Thanks.

Hey guys I am pretty upset with my iPhone 4 and I want to return it. I am still in the first 30 days, an I just got my bill. My question is do I need to pay the whole bill if I return it? Cuz I just used 53mb data and 3 mins. Also, is there any restocking fee? Since I heard apple will give us a full refund. Thanks!

i just purchased an iphone 4 from the website..   i wanted to know the return policy ! how do i return it will i get full refund will they charge restocking fee for opening the box ?

Ordered an iPhone 4 via AT&T.com site, can I return to a physical corporate store?   Will there be a restocking fee?    I just can’t justify the antenna solution, I don’t like to use cases.   Thanks

I ordered my Iphone4 with the intention of exchanging it for a white iphone. What if the white comes out before I get my black iphone 4? Apple says no restocking fee so why is Att going to charge me one?   Anyone have any restocking fee issues so far when they order from ATT? Anyone else plan to exchange for the white iphone?

At the Apple press conference today, Jobs stated that there would be a “full refund” for any iPhone 4 returns. Does this apply to iPhones purchased at an AT&T corporate store? Or would the restocking fee still apply in that case?

Unfortunately I had to yell at them to waive the restocking fee. It was hard to return it because I loved that phone so much but not enough to blindly ignore its antenna defect. I will buy it again if they fix it (via a recall or a new batch). Until then, I’ll just be happy using my JB iPhone 3GS.

Really,       Do some research before making the switch, not only are there problems with the antenna the proximity sensor is out of whack. the graphics & camera are great but I returned mine & PAID THE RESTOCKING FEE..What  a rip off…. The Phone does NOT WORK   There is plenty of media out there that shows Apple SHOULD RECALL all of the phones and make correction to the device….no to mention the class action law suit that is already in the works..   Woody

I need to switch the number attached to my brand-new iPhone4 without actually switching the phone itself. Does anyone know whether or not this is possible?   When I purchased iPhone 4 from an AT&T retailer yesterday, they opened a new phone line to attach to my new iPhone. They were supposed to transfer my old AT&T number, which I’ve had for six years, onto my new phone. I hadn’t upgraded since 2004, though, and my 2g plan was incompatible with the new 3g technology, so they couldn’t figure out how to migrate my number over to the 3g network and subsequently, to the iPhone4. I accepted having to get a new number because I thought it was the only way I could use the new iPhone (not to mention that I’d been waiting in line since 5:30 am and got the last phone in the store).   Later on, I found out from AT&T Customer Care that the store could & should have moved my original number over. They also told me it’s possible to fix this: cancel the new iPhone line and migrate my number onto the 3g network, then onto an iPhone.  Customer Care said that AT&T has a “Buyer’s Remorse” policy where you can cancel your contract within 30 days without paying the early termination fee. There is, however, a restocking fee for “returning” the new iPhone4.   My question is, can’t they just move my old phone# over to my same iPhone4 once they close the new line? I am not returning the phone, just applying a new number to it. What on earth does this have to do with “restocking”? Am I really supposed to get a different iPhone4 just to apply my old# to my current iPhone4 sim card? Does Apple have some kind of policy where you the store can’t wipe this phone and reprogram the sim card?   I’m going out of town next weekend and need to have my iPhone with me, and I’m afraid that if, for some reason, they can’t do the simple, obvious thing and just reprogram my current iPhone sim card, I’ll have to wait for a new iPhone4 handset in order to straighten this out. And who knows when they’ll have more in stock (without having to stand in line for hours all over again).   Does anyone know anything about how the new iPhone 4 sim cards work? Is it actually necessary to ‘re-stock’ my current iPhone, or is it possible for the AT&T retailer to just wipe it and re-program it with my original number?   Any advice would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks!

I bought my 3GS on May 16th and if I’m correct, I have until June 15th (the same day I can pre-order the new iPhone) to return it, per the 30-day return policy. My plan was to return my 3GS on the last possible day, June 15th (an employee checked it out, said it’s in good condition, I just have to pay the restocking fee) and then pre-order the new iPhone. Then I would use my back-up Nokia phone until June 24th when I can pick up my new iPhone. But the employee told me I can pre-order the new iPhone4 on the 15th and keep my 3GS until the 24th.  On the 24th, I would return my 3GS and take home my 4.  If I keep my 3GS until the 24th, that would be passed the 30-day return period.  He said there was an exception to customers who bought their 3GS’s in a certain time frame in May.  Is this true or is he just telling me what I want to hear and to prevent a return?
