I bought a 3GS on May 14th,. and as you know I was told I could exchange it without any problems if I pre-ordered the iphone 4 on the 15th, supposedly I had until the 21st to do so. I went on the 15th. but the line was huge and I couldnt wait, had to get back to work. They told me at the store I should be alright, because I still had 6 more days to do it. And then you all know what happened.

So, I came back on the 16th. and they told me first there was nothing they could do, because the pre-orders were suspended, I got mad and called ATT they said I could probably return the 3GS by the 21st and then get the iphone 4 later on (using an old phone to keep my account alive). I went back to the stroe to double check that inofrmation. A guy told me he was going to check, and took a while in the office talking to somebody, then he came out and said, I should be good. I just have to come back on the 24th. and do the exchange right there, and they will accept it. I asked him, are you sure? what if I come that day and there a huge line, and I just come back a couple of days later? he said, that’s alright, you should be ok. He was reassuring, but I still have my doubts, so I called today and asked and they told me they dont know yet what’s gonna happened, and they were supposed to call me before the end of the day to let me know. I haven’t heard anything yet.

Does anybody know what is gonna happen? Has anybody heard something different?
