Hi. My phone suddenly stopped ringing when I get calls and my apps don’t have audio. I listened to a video on YouTube without headphones right before I noticed the problem.  The phone hasn’t had any liquid spilled on it. When I go into Settings, I can adjust the sounds and they work. I’ve called Apple support. The agent suggested I do a factory restore and then rename the phone. I did that and I’ve tried holding down the home button while holding the power button down. No luck. Is this a common issue with a simple fix? I was hoping to find a solution before sending the phone in for a replacement. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
iphone audio problem 3gs, iphone 3gs audio problem, iPhone 3GS audio problems, sound cuts off iphone 3gs, problem with audio output iphone 3gsOk, so I’m relatively new to AT&T, and got a 3G right before the 3Gs came out. They said I had 2 options: wait until it reaches retail then trade in, or pay an extra $200 to secure a 3Gs online. Natually, I wasn’t going to pay another $200 withing my first month so I waited it out until the last day I was eligible for the trade-in. No 3Gs in-store, so I was SOL. I settled for a 16GB 3G and $50 back. In the here & now, I’m still stuck with my 3G and not eligible for upgrade until Jan 2011. So my question is if anyone can point me to a way to getting at least a 3GS on the cheap WITHOUT paying through the nose OR losing my upgrade eligiblilty. I know AT&T doesn’t owe me anything but I still can’t help feeling a bit gipped out a near up-to-date iPhone, especially given the clunkyness of 4.0 on a 3G. Please help. Thanks in advance.
I have a 3G and I am trying to ugrade to the new iOS4 but I am stuck at “backing up iPhone”. I had no problems updating my wife’s 3Gs right before I tried mine.  Anyone else stuck on the backup?
Hey guys I have a question, I’ll start off by saying I got a 3G at launch, I got mugged right before 3GS came out, then Apple said they would replace it for $199. I did this not knowing it would renew my contract, they made no mention of it, and we were furious but AT&T would not take the contract off. Anyway, early 3GS adopters I know are getting their upgrade date pushed back to June 21st for the new iPhone, but my date isn’t pushed back. It’s really unfair they get to upgrade and I don’t, I would’ve gladly waited a month and bought a 3GS instead and then would’ve been able to upgrade if the Apple store simply told me they were going to renew my contract. I also would’ve been able to upgrade if I wasn’t mugged. I’ve been a “valued AT&T customer” for over 5 years, is there anyway I can get the pushed back upgrade date too? Thanks in advance, Alex
