On my old WinMobile phone, when my bluetooth earpice was connected, the phone rang to my earpiece instead of the phone’s speakers.

Is it possible to also have this on my iPhone?

I don’t want to put the iPhone into Silent mode. I would just rather have the ringer audio be on my bluetooth earpiece if it is connected.

can iphone 4 ring while connected to bluetooth?, ringtone from phones loudspeaker instead of bluetooth, possible to have iphone ring with bluetooth connected, iphone4 ring in bluetooth and phone, iphone4 mute ring on bluetooth

My iPhone 4 under OS 4.1 still has the ring coming through on the speakers eevn though I have the earphones/mic that came with it plugged in.   Is that right? Just doesn’t seem like it should be….

has anyone else noticed that when you turn your ringer on silent on iphone 4 that it doesn’t have the usual silent icon on the top of the phone screen? or is it just my phone that does it? i keep forgeting that my phone is on silent/vibrate cuz i forget that thier is no icon to show it is on silent…. :(

On my old phone, if I did not want to take a call and not send it directly to voicemail, I could hit a button, the ringer would stop ringing, but not on the callers end.  Hope this makes sense.  Is there a way to do that on the iphone?  Thanks.

So, I misplaced my iPhone 3G today.  Of course I have been searching all over the place trying to find a way to locate it without having to report it lost or stolen.  If I choose the option to report it and it is completely turned off, how will I ever have the chance of finding it? If it is deactivated, how do I call it to try to locate it?  I really do not want to choose that option until I am positive that it is not in my car, house, office, etc.   I know it wasn’t stolen so it defeats the purpose of trying to find it if it is completely disabled.  With today’s technology, I am having a hard time understanding why I can’t call Apple or At&t and have them access the settings to turn on the ringer if it is set to vibrate or enable the GPS if it is turned off.  I also do not understand why I can’t remotely access the phone utilizing iTunes or my At&t account.   I know, my bad for not buying the MobileMe service; however, if this is such a “Smartphone”, why wasn’t there something built in to locate it – prior to the MobileMe app?   I am sure there are a lot of people out there like me – I didn’t expect to misplace the phone so why would I even think, or know about all the “find me” apps that I have come across in the gigantic waste of time and resources.   Believe me, if there is an Iphone guru who has some magical words of wisdom, I am more than willing to take some good advice. If push comes to shove and I don’t come across it tomorrow, I’ll report it and lay down the coin for a new one.  My life is in that little box of knowledge and at this point, I am not ready to give that up.   Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Someone please lead me in the right direction.
