The ITC ruling in the patent infringement case Apple brought against HTC for allegedly using its patents has been delayed again. There is no indication from the ITC why the ruling has been delayed for a second time.

iPod Touch connects to my 2WIRE router, but I can't access the internet?

My 4G iPod touch connects to my 2WIRE router, but it won’t let me go onto the internet. I know a lot of people have had this problem because I’ve been searching for a fix for about two days now.   I’ve tried deleting my DNS. I’ve tried forgetting the network and putting the key [...]

Got my iPhone 4 yesterday. Set it up with my wireless router. Played with it all evening. Took it to the store with me, etc. When I came home, it automatically reconnected to my wifi at home via my router. Still OK this morning and throughout the day. Just went in town and when I came home, I noticed there was an error message saying that the password for my router was incorrect. I tried re-entering it about a dozen times making sure it was correct and it just keeps telling me the password is incorrect. All other devices in my home are connecting and operating on my wifi. Any ideas? RJ

I have 2 iphones on my contract that expires in 5 months. I am interested in canceling the data plans for both phones and only using the wifi feature to update apps and check email. I assume my contract allows me to cancel my data plans because the start date precedes the mandatory data service plans. If I do cancel, does the service shut off without any possibility of incurring charges for per use or per byte data charges. I don’t want a surprise bill for data I thought was being accessed via my wifi router.  Thanks DJ

I’m having the same troubles as many others on this forum with my iPhone dropping WiFi calls.  I’ve talked to tech support several times but no help.  I’ve been to the AT&T store and they say, sorry, this is not our problem since UVerse is a different company.   Prior to installing UVerse we had AT&T with a DSL and WiFi through Airport Express that worked fine, but no longer.   I wonder about several things:   1.  I’ve logged my phone into the UVerse router with the password and am within two feet of the router with full “bars” (the apple wifi single is very strong on the phone as it is on our laptops).  Why would my phone keep dropping calls and have poor reception (people can’t hear me and I can’t hear them…)? 2.  This same scenario holds for my wife’s iPhone and laptop, too.  How could two iPhones have the same trouble?   Any help would be appreciated.     John Athens, GA

I have been experiencing some issues with the WiFi connection with my iPhone.  I can connect to my router with any other wireless device ( Laptops, printer, PS3, etc.) without any issues, but every once in a while my iPhone says that it is unable to connect to it. Once I reset my router it seems to fix itself for a few days then I will have to reset my router again.    I have tried rebooting the phone, resetting network settings, removing the router from the phone, and adding again with no luck. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or if anyone know what causes this and how to permanently fix it.  Message Edited by Tabasco0303 on 11-19-2009 12:30:06 AM

Thanks to the growing Linux developer community along with the many brilliant programmers contributing to unleashing the power of the Palm Pre, you can now access the Internet by tethering your lap. . .

Official support for tethering is still one feature conspicuous by its absence from the Palm Pre’s abilities, and the last we heard Palm were cautioning.
