I have a 3G iPad with the unlimited data plan. I like to stream either Pandora or pocket tunes while at work. Most of the time it works very well but several times a week the signal will get deteriorate and the stream breaks up even though I have a full 5 bar 3G signal. It happens equally in either of the apps, so I don’t think it’s an app issue.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem, and found a resolution?

I’m on hold waiting for a supervisor right now (47 minutes and counting). We ordered two Iphone 4′s and one 3GS on 6/29 thorugh the Premier site. It was held up in ATTENTION twice, we called to fix those several times but it was sloooow. On Monday I saw the port status will be final on Friday (for the 3GS, this is our home phone number that everyone uses to call us). I was getting nervous about the possibility that it may port to a phone we may not have received yet so I called in for a stutus. Sure enough, the guy said it looks like it will ship next week. What do we do? We won’t have a phone from Friday until “sometime next week”?   Anyone know what happens when the port goes to an unactivated phone? I plan on asking the supervisor if they can ship the 3GS now.   To complicate matters, I will be getting one of the 4′s to replace my current cell phone. My month runs out Saturday. I planned on porting that number when I received the phone – so now I will have to pay for another month of service.

Hi guys,   For the last few days I have been having a problem with my iPhone 4 where 3G will stop working. When this happens, it still displays 5 bars and the 3G icon. It’ll stay down for 5+ minutes before it starts working again, and goes down several times an hour.   If I reset the phone during this time, it’ll still display 5 bars but no 3G icon (so the 3G icon won’t disappear to indicate that it is down until you reset).   I’ve tried resetting network settings and also tried  restoring as a new device but neither helps.   Is anyone else having this problem?

Just got a 3Gs after AT&T HTC Tilt for last 2 years. Lots of features of iPhone I like but had I known how buggy the iTunes software is (XP user) and the increadable limitations, I would have opted for Android. Even though I have been screwed by Wireless T several times since 1989 this call I can 99% blame on myself.

I upgraded to the iphone4. after a week i’m getting message in blue box that says “sim not active”. in the upper left corner where the bars should be it says “no sim”. I have to turn my phone off and back on several times for it to start working again. anyone else having this problem and know how to fix it? ATT answer is to replace sim card, i’m doing that today.

After seeing that video of the nimrod “testing” an iPhone 4 by dropping it several times on asphalt, I think I should get a case.  What do people like? Are the AT&T store cases in the running, or considered uncool?   Also am considering a warranty.  The choices for me are the AppleCare or SquareTrade.  SquareTrade offers 2 years coverage from Drops/Spills which AppleCare doesn’t, ST costs $99.  I think the AT&T store guy said the AC costs $70. Any comments or advice?   Thanks!

New G3 ipad. I go to sign up, put my credit card info in and it keeps being rejected, saying my address is wrong. Have done this several times, even put in the cap letters, gone to my credit card company to check the address, and ATT sign up still says my address is worng!   Anyone having this problem or know a phone number I can call to ATT?

I’m having the same troubles as many others on this forum with my iPhone dropping WiFi calls.  I’ve talked to tech support several times but no help.  I’ve been to the AT&T store and they say, sorry, this is not our problem since UVerse is a different company.   Prior to installing UVerse we had AT&T with a DSL and WiFi through Airport Express that worked fine, but no longer.   I wonder about several things:   1.  I’ve logged my phone into the UVerse router with the password and am within two feet of the router with full “bars” (the apple wifi single is very strong on the phone as it is on our laptops).  Why would my phone keep dropping calls and have poor reception (people can’t hear me and I can’t hear them…)? 2.  This same scenario holds for my wife’s iPhone and laptop, too.  How could two iPhones have the same trouble?   Any help would be appreciated.     John Athens, GA

Hello All!   Am I the only one with this problem?  I have a good signal but sometimes I dial a number, press call and it just sits there.  I can try several times and get the same result.  Sometimes, if I wait 15 or 20 seconds, it will start ringing but other times it will not.  Is this a common problem or do I just have screwy hardware?     Message Edited by wharriso on 12-13-2009 01:31:01 PM

iPhone with 3.1.2.  Denver, CO.   Full signal strength.     Sometimes i cannot connect to check email or browse the net.  Calls sometimes drop.   Exchanged the phone several times, Apple is suspecting a problem with the SIM.  Anyone every heard of this?     Know several others with iphones, one of my other friends is having the same problem.  We bought our phones at the same time, same store, etc.  Could we have received a bad batch of sim cards?  Another friend had this problem and he got a new SIM and he has never seen the problem since.   Will ATT issue me a new SIM if i just walk into one of their stores?? Thanks in advance.
