I purchased an iPhone 1.5 years ago for a single line with a new 2-year commitment to AT&T. An year after the purchase, I added my wife to my plan (no data plan for her, simply voice) and my plan became a family plan with 700 shared minutes.

 

Now, I found there exists a 550 shared minutes family plan and like to switch to 550. Is it okay? What kind of commitment do I have? Is there any minimum to keep with AT&T for two years? Can I just keep using “some” service of AT&T?

 

What happens, during the 2 year, if I just use voice plan for my iPhone, without any data plan? Is it still okay for the contract?
