Ok so i’ve tried everything and i don’t want to take the phone back but it seems like i’m getting nowhere. I have an iphone 4 that was an upgrade to my previous 3g. Monday i downloaded ios4 to my 3g and everything was working fine. come thursday i loaded my new phone and did a backup of my old phone…everything was working fine except i couldn’t send mms….until i figured out my sms’ weren’t getting out either. i called att and they fed me some garbage about problems in my area but i’ve not encountered any other people with the same problem (iphone4 and other att users) Att sent me a test message which i received and verified that i had messaging on my account. I’ve restored it three times as a new phone but the problem is still there. I’ve read that mms was messed up with some users after iOS4 but can’t verify if anyone was affected with sms either. Does anyone have any info as to why this would be happeneing? i’m leaning heavily toward a software defect or else i shouldn’t have been able to receive att’s text. its been 4 days now and i just want to text!!!
