My friend has an unlimited iPhone data plan on his ATT family plan and has 8 months of his 2 years left. He already switched to verizon for some reason and his plan is still going and he doesn’t want to cancel it. I’m part of my own family plan (I’m on an iPhone 4. Shh, don’t tell AT&T) with data BLOCKED so I don’t accidentally get charged $250 for usage (again), unlimited messaging and the family minutes. If I wanted to take over his unlimited data, what’s the best way to do that and would I be able to just add the $30 onto my account, keep my messaging and whatnot? I want the iPhone unlimited, not the 2gb+tethering or anything like that. Sorry if this is confusing, I’m willing to clear anything up.

Hi Everyone, Â I Ordered my phone on 5/18 thru ATT.com Site and received it 5/19. Now Im going to pre order at the store on 6/15 which I was told I have to return the 3GS and use another phone until I can pick up the Iphone 4. Question is am I still going to be under the old contract which has the $175 early termination fee or does my contract start from the date they activate the new phone which would put me at the $325 early termination fee. The only reason I didn’t wait and just get the phone when it comes out was because I wanted to lock in the $30 unlimited data plan. Â Boobie1998
Hello there! I bought my iPhone 3gs online on May 17th And activated it on the May 19th So all in all, I do make the window. Â Now my question is, I bought the iPhone 3gs 16gb Refurbished , would I be eligible for the swap? I don’t mind paying the $50 difference between my current phone and the upcoming iPhone 4 16gb model. I’d just like to know if I’m still going to be eligible. And would I have to do it online?
