Hello everyone. I just got my iPhone in the mail last night. I did all the activation and everything. It charged while I was doing that through the cable.   After I was all set up and using my phone and learning it, it was time for bed. I put it on the wall charger (with the phone on) and went to sleep… I guess I should have checked it because when I woke up it was still the same power level… It had never charged.   So I expirimented with the charging and plugged it in and out, but the iphone doesn’t even acknowledge that I am plugging it in… It does however acknowledge the USB plugged in.   So I messed around with it, and I got it to finally charge off the wall if I powered the phone OFF and then plugged the cable in. This allowed it to charge up…      Now I am home from work after a day of using my iPhone and it is time to charge it. I have it plugged in the wall right now and it is not charging. Even when I try to charge it with the phone OFF it still does not respond.     Does the iPhone not allow you to charge it while it is on and being used??  I have never heard of such a ridiculous thing, so i assume not. I searched around for some stuff on this, the only thing I could find was some people speaking of a ‘stand-by’ mode the iPhone needs to be in in order to charge??? What is this about?     Also can someone tell me what the phone looks like when it is charging, with it powered ON? I can’t tell if it is charging, but I don’t think it is because the battery life stays the same…       Any help would be appreciated.     Thanks
