[Iphone4] After sim card swap, no 3g service message even though wifi is working good.

I have 1 iphone4 (718-) and 2 universe s (646 and 917) wit ATT family plan, each phone has interpretation plan. I operate no. 917- as my first one. Recently I barter sims in between iphone4 (718) and a single (917) of 2 universe s since I need a little iphone app for 917-.

 

After barter the sim, I found out iphone4 (917) woks excellent with wifi and phone calling though, 3g is not working. I see only No mobile network operate summary on the phone when I operate iphone4 for no. 917-.

 

Therefore, I swap sims behind to the strange phone, 2 phones, afterwards , iphone4 with no. 718 and universe s with no. 917 work fine.  

 

What’s the problem?

 

It’ll be appreciated if we give me any tips for this problem.

Am I allowed to swap Iphone 4 Sim to Ipad 3g ?

I attempted to work around to barter the Sim of Iphone 4 to Ipad 3g, and it worked. Half hour after ATT sent me content ask me to call 611 to plead the interpretation devise for Ipad 3g. I called ATT 2 opposite times, any time I got opposite answer, 1 represenative pronounced which I could if I can have it work, and alternative pronounced “I am not authorised to barter the sim of iphone 4 to block in to Ipad. Which answer is prepared ?

For days when I wish to have a phone on me though do not wish to have my iPhone so I do not have to be concerned about anything function to it I know I can only barter the SIM out and put it in an additional aged AT&T phone I have laying around (with a microSIM to SIM adapter of course). My subject is, what risk is there in losing my total iPhone interpretation devise for the day or so my SIM is in a opposite phone?

We have 2 lines elegible for ascent and a single which is not.  I have an iphone 3G.  My mother does not.  Myline is not elegible for upgrade.  Best Buy repute tells me you can’t ascent her line to latest iPhone and barter the sim cards.  Why is this not possible?  I suspicion the thought of the sim was to have it unstable to an additional phone.  I have finished this in the past after dropping a phone or whatever.  Had a gangling and popped my sim in and it worked.  Is the Best Buy repute wrong or is the sim scored equally to the ESN and only which ESN?

With the discontinuation of the total iphone interpretation skeleton there has been a lot of speak which if we barter the sim label out of your iphone in to an additional phone which we will remove we total interpretation package.  Does any one know if this is true?   I have an iphone with the total interpretation devise and infrequently I similar to to barter my sim label out in to an aged Razr when I am starting someplace which I do not wish to take my iphone such as towering biking or on drum coasters.  I only wish to have certain which I can go on to do this but losing my total interpretation devise for the iphone given to my bargain there is positively no approach of removing it behind once it has been changed.   thanks.

I have an iPhone that I’m not authorised to move in to work.  I’m authorised to move any alternative phone to work.  If I barter the sim from my iPhone to, for example, the HTC Tilt phone, will I be means to operate the internet on the HTC given I have an total interpretation devise (iPhone)?
