I wish to shift phones. I have a crony which is peaceful to sell me his 16GB iPhone 3G. But I am disturbed about it working.
Would I simply be means to only take the SIM label from my Eternity, put it in the iPhone and it work 100%? Not as in approbation the phone will spin on. Like will I be means to embrace calls and texts on which same number? And would I be means to get divided with not upgrading my plan?

i listen to of people have iphones and they only take the sim out and put in an additional phone call att and have them cancel the interpretation devise and put on a retard consider the similar to WIX restraint or something and afterwards they take the sim and put it behind in the iphone..and they used the iphone with interpretation devise and given the retard from att the iphone wouldnt be rescued by att does this essentially work im extraordinary
I had 2 phones. A unchanging phone and an iPhone. I canceled my operate for the iPhone a little time ago and used only the unchanging phone due to minimal use. Now I would similar to to operate my iPhone once again. Can I take the sim from my unchanging phone and operate it on my iPhone? The sim from the unchanging phone is noted with a 3G. Â Also, I extrinsic the sim from my unchanging phone in to my iPhone and continuous to iTunes. iTunes asked a couple of confidence questions and afterwards gave choice for the interpretation plan. I am wondering if I should go on to setup the phone? Will it erase all which is already on my iPhone? Please advise.
Hello,  I have an iPhone 3G and am not ready to replenish my stipulate nonetheless though longed for the 3GS.  So, I paid for a code latest 3GS from a seller on Ebay and am wondering on the correct approach to register it and get it up and running.   I have review opposing things and have additionally perceived 2 opposite stories currently from AT&T reps at an AT&T store as to how to do it.  One pronounced to leave the latest sim in the latest 3GS and register it on iTunes.  The alternative pronounced to take the sim label out of my aged 3G and put it in to the latest 3GS.  I am patently confused as to what to do!  Should I take the sim out of my 3G and put it in to the latest 3GS (thus stealing the code latest sim card) or should I only block the latest 3GS in to in to iTunes and go from there as the latest sim label will essentially work?   Both reps positive me that it would not automatically replenish my stipulate or anything by syncing it with iTunes and induction the latest iPhone 3GS, that is good.  Thanks for any recommendation we might offer.
I only paid for an unbarred Storm 2 and wish to try it out on AT&T’s network, and if I do not similar to it I wish to go behind to my Iphone. I wish to take the SIM out of the Iphone and operate it with the Blackberry. However I do wish to keep the Iphone as an Ipod Touch (i have review the instructions on how to do so on the Apple website). Any suggestions on how to go about this? I did buy a latest AT&T sim label off of ebay only in box I would need it.
I am meditative about removing an iphone, though i was wondering if I finish of removing one, can I take the sim label out and put it in an additional divice as prolonged as it is at&t divice? Then of corse be means to put it behind in with no problems. If approbation will all work if the comparison phone supports it, (3G and texting and calling) I was wondering if I can do this, so I can get a single of my aged phones and take it with me on nonelectronic accessible trips. so if it happens to tumble in the silt or H2O or off a cliff, ect. I am in europe  since a whilst (more specifically) and would similar to to operate my phone with an additional conduit (ther is no at&t in germany).  Is there any approach to take the SIM close off the phone? I not long ago upgraded my daughters iPhone from a 2G to the 3GS. I have the family devise with 3 phones, 2 unchanging phones and the 1 iPhone. I am right divided left with the aged 2G phone which is not used. I’m certain which this has been asked prior to though if I take the sim label out of my non iPhone and place it in the aged 2G, will it work? I already have a interpretation devise for my daughter’s 3Gs. Would I be compulsory to get another data devise for the 2G? Seems similar to a waist to only put the 2G divided but regulating it. I would like to operate it as a phone. I do not need texting.  Â
Please do not discuss it me this is not allowed, only greatfully try to answer my question.  So, what if I were to buy a used iPhone 2g but a sim label from any site online, and afterwards go to the store and buy a Go Phone-Pay As You Go (PAYG) phone and sim label bundle. Then I set up the PAYG phone, and take the sim label out of it and put which sim label in to the iPhone 2g.  What would happen? Some questions i’d similar to to know from an intellegent chairman are: “Would it successfully have calls right away?” “Would ATT invalidate it after awhile and have me remove all of my minutes?” “Would ATT essentially locate on by celebration of the mass my IMEI number?”  I do not wish to listen to which I am not authorised to do this, I wish to know if it would work, and would I in the future get in difficulty for it or not. I am not you do anything wrong, I’d only rsther than not lift an iPod hold and a cell phone together, and I can’t compensate for the iPhone service. I do not unequivocally need interpretation given my propagandize has wi-fi and i know the password.  interjection
