What is the process for buying an iPhone and selling it? Â Do you need to activate it first? Â Can you just leave the sim card in the box and have the buyer activate it on their end?

My plan was due to expire yesterday but my iPad can not establish a connection to AT&T over 3g to re-up the cellular data plan. I had to find a wifi hotspot today to try and sure enough it connects there. What gives? This worked fine when I first set it up a couple months ago brand new out of the box with no wifi around. Regardless to say now I lost my unlimited plan option!! How do I get it back??

AT&T called today & said my iPhone 4 will be arriving on Thursday. They said they’ll call me on Thursday when it’s ready so I don’t have to wait in line.. whatever that means. I’ll be returning my 3GS that same day. I know to bring my receipts, the box & everything that came in the box, I’ll peel off my Zagg invisible shield, make a backup on iTunes & wipe all my apps & photos & everything off to make it factory new. My question is – Do I need to upgrade it to iOS4? Or can I leave it at 3.1.3? Is there anything else I need to do before I return my phone?

 Trying to decide whether to preorder online or in store. Judging by the prices on Ebay I find it hard to not just keep my Iphone 3G. Anyway, does anyone know if the box comes sealed when they ship? Thanks!

i just got a iphone ( refirbished ) does it come with a sim card pre instealled or will i recive one in the box it comes in?.. or do i have to go to the ATT store and get one and have them activate it?

My refurb iPhone 3g was delivered today and I couldn’t wait to get it out of the box and try it out. I hooked it up to the computer about 2 hours ago then went away only to come back and find out that my iPhone STILL said it was “Waiting for activation…This might take a while” Is there something wrong with my iPhone or am I just not doing something right?
