iphone backup help :(

ok, my brother came over to get his iphone 3gs upgraded from 3.1.3 to 4.01
i did backup from itunes name “BACKUP3.1.3″ restored to firmware 4.01 then during activation, i CREATED AS NEW SETTINGS OR NEW FILE…. I SHOULD OF SELECTED “BACKUP3.1.3″ I DIDN’T REALIZED THAT THIS WILL OVERWRITE IT AND START FROM SCRATCH AGAIN… how can i get back my files? i tried recovering my computer using “Recover My Files” i was able to atleast restore the backup files, folder “3e1c5d5d1432e0b5ba3b63b159501f52cc94b87a” from app dataapple computemobilesyncbackup…

but its not showing in itunes.. what do i do :( i really need to restore the iphone atleast the contacts and text!  i dont mind loosing the rest of the settings those the more important thing,
can anyone help me recover this… pls…

Airport Extreme and the Microcell

Hello, Does anyone know the settings for the Airport Extreme to get it to work with the MicroCell? Which option setup should I use,  A or option C? So far nothing works and I haven’t run across any post with the correct information. Does anyone know how to set up the Airport Extreme settings to get this to work. Thanks

ok its been a while how do i set up cox email on the iphone. i just got the Iphone 4 today. i foregot to look at the settings on the old iphone 3GS before i did restore on it

Edge/3g Switch

Has anyone heard if the iPhone 4 will have the same edge to 3g switch in the settings/network menu that the 3g iPhone has? I live in a location where I get full edge reception and minimal 3g reception so I keep it on edge all the time while I’m home. Thanks

does anyone elses iphone sometimes jump or skip around when cutting an option on/off in the settings section? like if i ct wifi on or off or sounds alerts the screen will jump to the top or to the botto. of the page

iphone isnt syncing to itunes?

everytime i plug in my iphone, it automatically syncs my iphone. but recently, i get this message that says “itunes has stopped working” and then im given the option to either close the program or check online for a solution. when i check for a solution, it tells me that Data Execution Prevention is what closed itunes, and i cant change the settings on it to let itunes sync the iphone. itunes works perfectly fine till i plug in my iphone, and i hav no idea how to fix this problem. can anyone help me? it would be greatly appreciated :)

No sound on IPhone, absolutely NONE

My BF just bought the Iphone 3GS for himself, the first one was a refurb that had to be taken back & he bought a new one tonight. Now we have the thing home and there is NO SOUND coming out of it at all. No ringtone, you can’t hear if someone is talking to you on it, they can’t hear you, songs don’t play.  We found the silent switch on the left side and switched it back to on, went through the settings and turned everything on, did a reset, a sync & nothing works. I’m not an iphone user, but it still shouldn’t be this hard to turn the sound on a phone.  Does anyone know what the problem is with it?  I mean, did he seriously get 2 crap phones in a row?
