So im starting a contract with at&t (a family plan) and im getting the iphone 4, the other two family members are getting free phones, we cant get the free phones at the store so we gotta order online, so i gotta wait 2 weeks for shipping.
Does anyone know if theres a way for me to order online, but get my phone early by going to the store and pickup an iphone 4 for myself to put on my line?

Ordered my iphone 4 16gb in an AT&T store 7/24 Money pulled out of acount 7/27 Noted as backordered on 7/27 Taken off backorder on 8/3 Phone still hasnt shipped and is showing as “in progress”  This process is making me question making the switch from Sprint to AT&T  I’m considering cancelling my order and just getting an HTC Evo…No one at the store can answer my questions nor can anyone at Apple.
Hi guys, For anyone who ordered their iPhone 4 from an AT&T store, and picked it up there, did you get a receipt? I ordered mine, and picked it up at the store on Thurs. Morning, however, the store rep said that because I did a direct Fulfillment Order, the only thing that I get as far as a receipt, is the confirmation receipt, that I got on the day that I placed the order.…. However, I thought we should have received, either an invoice, OR a sales receipt, that has the date that the order got charged on my CC, as well as the devicses IMEI number…… Without this, how am I going to return it to the store before my 30 day trial period ends, or do an exchange if it starts to give me problems? Thanks in advance. 
My contract expires august 6th so I was wondering if I call a few days ahead and put my name on the list before my contract expires can I still get the $199 price when it comes in the store?
i ordered on the 19th and still haven’t received it yet, the lady in the store told me that i can receive it in 5 days and it has not arrived, any help?Â
I walked into the apple store in the Arden fair mall in Sacramento after a short wait in line walked out of the store with a iphone 4 no pre order just walked in maybe that means they are catching up hopefully for some that are on back order.
i ordered about 7:30pm on 7/12 told 7-10 days (today makes day 12) to be delivered to the store. south florida. 16GB black. Â when should i expect to come off of backorder and is there a possiblility that i’ll get a call to pick up my phone with the status still on backorder? i saw that happened to someone else. is that likely? i was also told that the store gets a shipment everyday except sundays.
I used my dad’s upgrade to get the iphone 4. It just arrived at my house today and I was wondering how I would activate the phone under my number. Can I just call at&t or would I have to go to the store in order to get this done ? Â
How do I check the status of the order I made from the store? When I go to the order status page and put in my cell # and billing zip it only shows an order I made years ago.
I just spoke to a manager at my local store and he told me that if you’re within 30 days, you can return your phone for any reason with no restocking fees, even if it’s just to exchange to the white one. The only catch is the white ones will probably not be at the store, so when you return the black iPhone you’d have to allow AT&T to change your upgrade eligibilty back and then you can order the white one.
